Tyler Huntley

Tyler Huntley

CLEQB • #18

Browns agreed to terms with QB Tyler Huntley, formerly of the Ravens, on a one-year contract.

Huntley has been a backup in the Ravens’ quarterback room since signing as an undrafted free agent out of Utah in 2020. He has made nine starts in relief of Lamar Jackson, most notably starting four games and inexplicably making the Pro Bowl in 2022. He also started the Ravens’ Wild Card loss to the Bengals that postseason. Throughout his career, Huntley has thrown for 1,957 passing yards, eight touchdowns, and seven interceptions, adding 509 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns. With the Ravens signing Josh Johnson and also having Malik Cunningham to compete for the backup job, Huntley is now expected to sign with the division rival Browns. He will compete with Jameis Winston and Dorian Thompson-Robinson for backup reps heading into 2024.
