Marvin Harrison Jr.

Marvin Harrison Jr.

ARZWR • #18

Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon said he is “really excited to see where” Marvin Harrison Jr.'s game goes in his second season.

Gannon heaped praise on MHJ for his work ethic and initiative during the offseason. He also mentioned that Harrison Jr. added some muscle mass after his rookie campaign. The former No. 4 overall pick went for 885 yards and eight scores in 2024. While those aren’t bad numbers, they are far from what you would expect from a player of Harrison Jr.'s pedigree. The Cardinals used him to stretch the field, opening up easy-button targets for Trey McBride. This may have worked for their offense, but it was a dreadful utilization of the rookie’s skill set. The Cardinals have to design more short and intermediate looks for MHJ if he is going to break out in his second season.
