Speaking to FOX 11’s Ellie French, Christian Watson (knee) said his recovery is “going really well” after tearing his ACL last season.

Watson said he’s “got a couple more months” ahead of him, presumably referring to his recovery, although he is not expected to take the field until midseason after injuring his ACL in Week 18. His surgery date has not yet been revealed, so it is difficult to estimate a return-to-play date 10-12 months post-op. For now, we’ll take the positive news and celebrate Watson for “attacking it every day.” He should not be counted on for early-season productivity at this time.
