Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon said Kyler Murray is “leaps and bounds” ahead of where he was during the 2023 season.

Murray last season returned from a 2022 ACL tear in Week 10 and threw 10 touchdowns to five interceptions over eight games, posting one of the lowest adjusted yards per attempt of his NFL career. “I think from a mental and physical standpoint, right now where he’s at, to even when he got back last year or even where he finished last year, I think he’s leaps and bounds ahead,” Gannon said during a Tuesday interview. Another year removed from his knee injury, the mobile Murray could be more inclined to get back to his pre-injury rushing in 2024.
