Kimani Vidal

Chargers declared RB Kimani Vidal, QB Taylor Heinicke, CB Tarheeb Still, S Alohi Gilman, OL Jordan McFadden, WR Brenden Rice, and DL Justin Eboigbe inactive for Week 2 against the Panthers.

Vidal is once again a healthy scratch as Gus Edwards and JK Dobbins split backfield duties in the run-heavy LA offense. Edwards had 11 carries to Dobbins’ 10 rushes in Week 1 against the Raiders, though Dobbins was far more effective. Edwards is likely to function as the Chargers’ goal line back.
