Derrick Henry

Derrick Henry

BALRB • #22

Derrick Henry rushed 18 times for 84 yards and a touchdown in the Ravens’ Week 2 loss to the Raiders, adding one catch for 12 yards.

Despite the Ravens’ inexplicably losing this game, the script set up Henry for success until the final minutes. The Ravens held a narrow lead for a good chunk of the game and played less than 30 seconds from behind. Henry increased his carry total by five compared to Week 1 and Justice Hill only saw four attempts. Still, for such a good matchup, fewer than 100 yards and a touch total below 20 feels like an underwhelming outing from The Big Dog. Without a receiving role to speak of Henry may be stuck in the RB2 range even in good games. He will remain there for his Week 3 matchup with the Cowboys.
