ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports 49ers RB Jordan Mason (shoulder) is believed to have suffered a sprained AC joint in Thursday’s Week 6 win over the Seahawks.

Per Schefter, Mason’s injury “is not considered serious,” but he will undergo further testing today to confirm the severity of everything. Head coach Kyle Shanahan said after the game that Mason would have been available to play in an emergency situation in last night’s win, so it’s possible he’ll be good to go for Week 7 against the Chiefs. With more than a week to heal up, we’ll see where Mason’s status stands when the team releases its first injury report next week.
