ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports David Njoku (hamstring) “will work out pre-game to see if he is able to play” in Week 15 against the Chiefs.

Schefter noted that a source called Njoku “a game-time decision.” Njoku didn’t practice at any point this week but was still listed as questionable, giving him a shot to suit up anyway. The Browns play in the early window of games, meaning fantasy managers will know Njoku’s fate before any backup options are off the menu. Though not the top option on most waiver wires, Jordan Akins will draw the start if Njoku doesn’t make it through pre-game warmups. Akins didn’t do much in three games with Njoku sidelined earlier this year, though he peaked at a serviceable seven targets in one of them, giving him some TE2 potential this week.
