Travis suffered a catastrophic leg injury during his final collegiate season and was never expected to play in 2024. Jets coaches have hinted since the summer that Travis — a fifth-round selection — has been well behind in his recovery. The best-case scenario would seem to be Travis recovering in time for the team’s offseason practices and workouts. He has no clear path to playing time in 2025 and beyond.
