Isaac Guerendo (foot) said his exit from Week 14’s game against the Bears was “just precautionary.”

Head coach Kyle Shanahan said after the game that the X-rays on Guerendo’s foot didn’t reveal anything and that the initial belief is that the rookie suffered a foot sprain. He’ll undergo an MRI on Monday to confirm, but Guerendo’s Week 15 availability on a short week is undoubtedly in question. Guerendo said after the game that he feels “great,” so we’ll see how things unfold from here. If he can’t go, the 49ers will likely be starting Patrick Taylor, who ran seven times for 25 yards and a touchdown against the Bears.
