Jordan Mason

Jordan Mason had 14 rushes for 58 yards in the 49ers’ Week 7 loss against the Chiefs, adding two catches for 11 yards.

Mason struggled to get loose against a stiff Kansas City front seven that did not have to respect the Niners’ passing offense with Brandon Aiyuk (knee) and Deebo Samuel (illness) sidelined. Mason continues to work as the team’s lead back but is very much limited by his lack of pass game involvement. Mason has a plus matchup in Week 8 against the Cowboys and their bottom-dwelling rush defense.
