Jordan Mason rushed 14 times for 89 yards in the 49ers’ Week 4 loss to the Cardinals, adding one reception for nine additional yards.

The shine wore off a bit in this one, as Mason failed to find the end zone for the second time all season and lost a key fumble late in the game while the Niners were driving in hopes of putting the game out of reach. Mason did average a season-high 6.4 YPC in this one but certainly left his team and fantasy managers wanting more in the defeat. He still handled 53.8 percent of the team’s rushing attempts and will remain a high-end RB1 in Thursday night’s tilt with the Seahawks, who allowed 175 rushing yards to the Giants in Week 5.
