This isn’t the first time Evans has started the week as a DNP, but the hamstring injury is a new one. Head coach Todd Bowles said earlier that Evans was dealing with a “nagging” leg injury but that he expected him to practice this week. We won’t read too much into this first practice, but if Evans can’t get on the field by Saturday, his Week 7 availability could legitimately be in doubt.
