Mike Gesicki caught 7-of-9 targets for 91 yards in the Bengals’ Week 2 loss to the Chiefs.

Gesicki did most of his damage on a 37-yard connection with Joe Burrow on a crossing route that showed off the “tight end’s” speed. He was easily the top target for Joe Burrow, picking up over 26 percent of the targets. Gesicki likely will lose some of that share as Ja’Marr Chase becomes less of a decoy and Tee Higgins returns from his hamstring injury, but it does appear he and Burrow have a rapport. Gesicki will look to build on this effort in Week 3 against the Commanders.
