Deebo Samuel Sr.

NBC Bay Area’s Matt Maiocco reports Deebo Samuel (illness) has been released from the hospital.

Obviously, terrific news for Deebo. His status for Week 8 remains rather unclear as things stand, but it seems likely that he’ll at least be around the team while he continues to recover this week. The 49ers injury report will tell more of the tale on Wednesday. Samuel was struggling through pneumonia.
