Patrick Mahomes completed 26-of-46 passes for 306 yards and one touchdown in Kansas City’s 19-17, Week 13 win over the Raiders.

A promising third-quarter drive was derailed by a 17-yard gigasack where he fumbled while backpedaling. Mahomes wasn’t without blame — he missed some open deep balls and it appeared he went to the wrong shoulder on a red zone throw to Travis Kelce, which is a rare miscommunication between those two. But it largely has not been his fault that this operation continues to struggle. A Week 14 matchup with the Chargers will probably remain firmly in fantasy football stayaway territory.
