Samaje Perine caught one pass for three yards in the Chiefs’ Week 2 win over the Bengals.

Perine didn’t receive a carry, and the three-yard connection late in the game was the only target. Meanwhile, Carson Steele received seven carries, and his careless fumble didn’t change anything in regards to Perine being involved in the game plan. At least based on this week, it doesn’t appear Perine is going to be a heavily involved in the Chiefs’ plans. He shouldn’t be in lineups for Week 3 against the Falcons.
