The Steelers are planning to start Russell Wilson in Week 7 against the Jets, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.
Rapoport notes that both Wilson and Justin Fields will play with Wilson taking the bulk of the snaps. This not only confirms George Pickens’ report on Friday, but also the idea that Wilson was the teams’ presumptive starter in training camp before he suffered a calf injury. Sunday Night Football on NBC just got even more interesting with Wilson now set to make his first start for his third team in four years.
