Vikings QB J.J. McCarthy missed practice Monday with knee soreness.

McCarthy appears to have emerged from the team’s first preseason game with knee soreness and was held out of practice Monday as a precaution. Head coach Kevin O’Connell stated that the rookie quarterback would undergo further testing to uncover the full extent of the injury. Any missed time in camp or the preseason could delay the No. 10 overall pick’s debut in the 2024 season.
