It’s the first time a player has homered four times since J.D. Martinez did it for the Diamondbacks in 2017. Three of those blasts were solo shots, including the game-tying homer against Raisel Iglesias to tie the record. Per Jayson Stark of The Athletic, Suárez had four homers in this game, and five singles on the season. The question now becomes when — if ever — we’ll see a five-homer game.

Kelly allowed solo homers in the first two innings, but he settled down quite nicely over the next few frames. The 36-year-old allowed just two other hits with four strikeouts and one free pass while lowering his ERA to 4.41 on the campaign. Kelly has looked good since hid disastrous nine-run start against the Yankees on April 3, and his 4.41 ERA is very misleading. He’ll be back on the mound next weekend against the Phillies.

Lawlar extended his hitting streak to seven consecutive games with his fourth consecutive multi-hit effort, falling just a home run shy of hitting for the cycle during Friday’s slugfest. The 22-year-old top prospect has begun playing regularly at second base to add some additional defensive versatility to his toolkit and appears close to getting another extended look at the highest level. He’s hitting .354/.466/.656 with 17 extra-base hits (five home runs) and 10 steals through 24 games for Triple-A Reno. His power-speed combination upside makes him one of the more intriguing prospects in the fantasy landscape and a worthy stash candidate in all leagues until further notice.

Suárez hadn’t drawn a walk in over a walk before working his two free passes in this one and wound up scoring the Diamondbacks’ only two runs. Also, he made a costly throwing error in the sixth inning that allowed the Braves to lengthen their lead. Such is the ‘Eugenio Suárez experience’ though as he tries to navigate through yet another slow start to his season.

McMahon will be out of the lineup for the first time in 2025. The 30-year-old has scuffled mightily with a .528 OPS to begin the campaign, and the Rockies will give him a chance to reset in the series finale against Cincinnati. McMahon has had ups and downs throughout his career, and he’s a great bounceback candidate in the coming weeks.

Maybe the Orioles’ second-best player to date, Urías is batting .340/.403/.434 in 62 plate appearances, and he’s stealing away Ryan Mountcastle’s playing time against righties. He probably doesn’t have any mixed-league value himself — he’s a zero in steals and he doesn’t typically hit for average — but he’s making an impact by cutting into the value of others.

Ramírez put Cleveland on the scoreboard with a run-scoring single to right field in the opening frame. He also picked up his fifth steal of the year a little later in the inning. The 32-year-old fantasy superstar has shown zero signs of slowing down as a consistent all-around contributor.
