The speedy centerfielder is off to his best start in a professional season, slashing .315/.357/.348 in 28 games at Triple-A with 10 steals. He doesn’t hit for much power and is striking out more than he ever has before, so it’s fair to wonder if this lasts, but he did steal 24 bases last year in 102 games, so he could be a deep league option for speed alone if he were to get the call to come up to Miami at any point.

White is one of the most promising pitching prospects in baseball, period. The 20-year-old southpaw’s fastball and slider combination is going to lead to astronomical strikeout totals down the road and make him an impact fantasy contributor. He set down 10 of the final 11 batters he faced on Friday, lowering his full-season ERA to a strong 3.24 mark through six starts for High-A Beloit. He should reach the upper minors at some point in the second half of the year with a chance to make it to Miami in 2026.

Sánchez got the Marlins on the board first in this one as he plated Xavier Edwards with an RBI single off of Bryse Wilson before an out had been recorded. He then swiped second base and advanced to third on an error, but the Marlins couldn’t cash him in from there. The 27-year-old outfielder then reached on an infield single in the third inning and again pilfered second base but was stranded there. With his two-hit attack. he’s now hitting .235/.312/.309 with one homer, seven RBI and four stolen bases in his first 19 games.

Domínguez remains locked into the lower-third of New York’s lineup despite putting together a surreal three-homer explosion during Friday’s series opener in Sacramento. However, this decision might have more to do with the presence of lefty JP Sears on the mound for the Athletics than anything else. It’ll be veteran Paul Goldschmidt leading off with Trent Grisham hitting second. Aaron Judge will get a turn at DH with Ben Rice taking a spot on the bench to open Saturday afternoon’s matinee.

Roden reached base safely in five of his six plate appearances and came within a triple of hitting for the cycle in his second game back in the minors. The 25-year-old rookie was demoted earlier this week after hitting .178 with one homer through 28 games with the Blue Jays. He’s clearly talented enough from a hit tool standpoint to dominate in the upper minors, but it might take him some time to break through at the highest level.
