On the plus side, the 36-year-old southpaw managed to rack up five strikeouts on the afternoon while issuing a pair of walks. The Guardians took an early 2-0 lead off of him on a two-run single by Johnathan Rodriguez in the home half of the first inning. He then allowed another on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Bo Naylor in the third inning. Corbin got 15 swings and misses on 90 pitches on the afternoon, posting a CSW of 30 percent. The impending free agent finishes the year with a 7-11 record, 4.40 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and a 131/51 K/BB ratio over 155 1/3 innings in 31 appearances (30 starts) for the Rangers.

The 36-year-old southpaw also walked two batters on the evening while striking out a pair. The Twins scratched out two runs against him in the third inning on a fielder’s choice off the bat of Byron Buxton and an RBI single by Ryan Jeffers. That was enough to do him in. Corbin got 10 whiffs on 65 pitches on the evening, posting a CSW of 25 percent. He’ll bring a 4.34 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and a 126/49 K/BB ratio (151 1/3 innings) into his final start of the season on Sunday against the Guardians in Cleveland.

Corbin stranded the bases loaded against the Mets in the first inning and tossed three more scoreless innings before giving up an unearned run on two hits and an error in the fifth that would end his day at 85 pitches. He struck out five. The 36-year-old left-hander will take a 4.23 ERA, 1.34 WHIP, and a 124/47 K/BB ratio across 146 2/3 innings into a start against the Marlins in Texas next Saturday.

He struck out five and walked one. Nine of the 14 balls in play against Corbin were hit hard, and seven had at least .500 xBAs, with two more over .400, yet he allowed just three hits: one double and two singles. He’ll face the Mets next weekend.

Corbin departed in line for a loss, but the Rangers came back to keep him 0-4 with a 10.69 ERA in seven career starts against the club he debuted with in 2012. Corbin gave up three solo homers in the first two innings tonight and then two runs on two hits in the sixth. Those were actually the only hits he allowed in the game, but they were all big ones. Corbin will likely make his next start Sunday against the Astros.

The 36-year-old southpaw scattered just three hits and one walk on the evening while striking out eight opposing hitters. The biggest threat against him came in the opening inning as Zach Neto doubled and advanced to third with one out, but Corbin got Taylor Ward and Jo Adell each to ground out to end the threat. He generated 14 swings and misses on 102 pitches on the night — five of them on his cutter — while posting a solid CSW of 30 percent. He’ll see if he can recreate this magic as he carries a 4.33 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and a 109/43 K/BB ratio (131 innings) into Monday’s tilt against the Diamondbacks in Arizona.

Corbin remains a perfectly cromulent innings-eater, but there’s no reason he should be rostered in fantasy leagues. The 36-year-old southpaw gave up seven hits, including a solo homer to Nick Loftin. He struck out two and also issued two walks. He’ll bring a lackluster 4.61 ERA 1.41 WHIP and 101/42 K/BB ratio across 123 innings (24 starts) into a home outing on Tuesday against the Angels.

Corbin was hit around in the second inning, giving up a run on two hits and a double before Myles Straw took him deep for a three-run shot. Two more hits and a walk loaded the bases for Bo Bichette, who doubled in two runs to make it a long six-run second inning. Corbin would start the third inning and walked a batter with one out, ending his day at 62 pitches. The 36-year-old left-hander will take a 4.37 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, and a 99/40 K/BB ratio across 119 1/3 innings into a start against the Royals in Kansas City on Thursday.

Corbin gave up four hits, walked three and struck out one. The 36-year-old left-hander has now failed to complete five innings in back-to-back starts. Corbin failed to record multiple strikeouts for just the second time this year. His ERA is up to 4.00 on the season. Corbin is lined up to face the Blue Jays on the road next weekend.

Corbin gave up six hits, walked three and struck out three. The 36-year-old left-hander lasted just three innings and 72 pitches. Jon Gray came out of the bullpen and threw five innings while striking out five. Corbin had struck out 50 batters over 48 1/3 innings in his previous nine starts entering Monday. He can still be a good source of strikeouts in deeper formats. Corbin is lined up to face the Phillies at home this weekend.

Corbin put two runners on for the Angels with a hit batter and a walk before both runners scored on a single and a throwing error. One more run would come in to score in the fourth inning on a triple and a dropped fly ball in shallow right field. Corbin would toss one more scoreless inning, ending his day after five with six strikeouts. The 36-year-old left-hander will take a 3.78 ERA, 1.27 WHIP, and a 93/32 K/BB ratio across 109 2/3 innings into a start against the Mariners in Seattle on Sunday.

Corbin and JP Sears were entangled in one heck of a pitcher’s duel here. The only blemish against Corbin was a two-out, run-scoring double that Nick Kurtz yanked down the left field line. Otherwise, he mixed his pitches well and forced at least two swings-and-misses with all four of his pitches. Corbin’s seven punch outs fell two short of his season-high and he’s now allowed three or fewer runs in four straight starts. Against all odds, he has a 3.78 ERA in what’s been a resurgent season and will try to keep the momentum going next time out against the Angels. That’s followed by a start against the Mariners in what’s a moderately enticing two-start week.

Corbin piled up six strikeouts on the night while surrendering two free passes. The biggest threat against him came in the fifth inning as the Tigers put two runners in scoring position with two outs when Corbin retired Gleyber Torres on a hard-hit fly ball to center field to end the inning. The 35-year-old southpaw got 10 swings and misses on 92 pitches on the night — seven of those on his slider — while posting a CSW of 33 percent. He’ll look to replicate this fine performance as he totes a 3.91 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and an 80/29 K/BB ratio (99 innings) into Wednesday’s matchup against the Athletics.

Corbin will get the nod to open the second half of the 2025 campaign, and he’ll be followed by Kumar Rocker on Saturday with Nathan Eovaldi starting Sunday. Jacob deGrom will likely start Monday, but that hasn’t been announced as of yet. Corbin did a solid job in the first half, but doesn’t offer a ton of fantasy upside; especially against a quality lineup like the Tigers.

Corbin allowed seven hits and two walks, but he was able to work around those baserunners thanks in large part to the half-dozen punchouts. The 35-year-old has now won six games in his first season with the Rangers, and a 4.15 ERA — while far from outstanding — shows that he’s done a nice job of keeping Texas in games. Corbin could be of interest on the trade market if the Rangers become sellers, but for now, he’ll remain in the back of their rotation to start the second half.

Corbin allowed a two-run homer to Jake Cronenworth in the second inning, and that was it. The 35-year-old scattered six hits through his frames with one walk and three strikeouts. Corbin has been better than expected in 2025 with a 4.18 ERA, and he’ll make his final start of 2025 against the Angels next weekend.

Corbin was able to strike out six over his six frames, and he issued just one walk. The 35-year-old was much better than he was in his outing against Baltimore last week, even while allowing eight hits. His ERA is now 4.26 on the season with a respectable — but far from excellent — 66/24 K/BB ratio over his 15 starts and 82 1/3 innings. He’s scheduled to be back on the bump against the Padres on Sunday. You should probably find a better option for that contest.

Corbin was tagged for nine hits, including a three-run homer by Jackson Holliday in the fifth inning, which accounted for most of the damage against him in this one. His outing ended abruptly after surrendering three consecutive hits to open the sixth inning. He struck out six and didn’t hand out a free pass. The 35-year-old veteran will bring a pedestrian 4.24 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 59/23 K/BB ratio across 76 1/3 innings (14 starts) into a home outing on Sunday against the division-rival Mariners.

The Royals did all their damage against Corbin in the third inning after a walk, two singles, and a loud three-run homer from Maikel Garcia. Nearly every ball that inning was hit hard and Corbin gave up 10 hard-hit balls in total. Most found gloves though, and Corbin was fortunate for that. He’s lined up for a two-start week coming up against the Orioles and Mariners.

Corbin fired eight innings of two-run baseball his last time out and took a loss. He was able to get the win despite being decidedly worse the next time out. The left-hander allowed six hits and walked three, and he was able to strikeout a solid — if unspectacular — six over 91 pitches. Corbin has been so much better than anyone could have imagined after his struggles the past few years, and he’ll take a 3.66 ERA into a scheduled start against the Royals on Wednesday.

It’s Corbin’s first complete game since 2022. That was also an eight-inning loss, though, and he hasn’t had a complete game end well since hurling his second career shutout in 2019. That Corbin has a 3.52 ERA through 11 starts is pretty stunning. He even faced the disadvantage of not signing until March 18. His peripherals don’t suggest that he’ll remain an above average starter, but the Rangers won’t worry about that until they need to. He’ll make his next start in Minnesota.

After a scoreless first inning, the Cardinals scored a run in the second without recording a hit with a walk, wild pitch, and sacrifice fly. A pair of doubles plated a second run in the fourth inning. Corbin would pitch into the sixth, recording one out and leaving with a runner on base at 83 pitches. The 35-year-old left-hander has been surprisingly solid for the Rangers as he’s yet to allow more than three runs in any outing. He’ll take a 3.71 ERA, 1.26 WHIP, and a 41/18 K/BB ratio across 53 1/3 innings into a start against the Rays in Tampa on Thursday.

Corbin gave up five hits, walked one and struck out six. The 35-year-old left-hander didn’t factor into the decision, though he was in line for a loss before the Rangers’ late comeback. Corbin has been solid with a 3.75 ERA and 38/16 K/BB ratio in 48 innings, though his 4.39 xFIP suggests he’s not quite that good. He’s set to face the Cardinals at home next weekend.

The 35-year-old left-hander walked two and punched out three batters on the night. He served up a solo homer to Ben Rice in the second inning and gave up a sacrifice fly to him in the fourth inning. Corbin then issued a leadoff walk and a single before exiting in the sixth, and the first inherited runner ultimately came around to score. All things being equal, it was a pretty good start for Corbin against a difficult opponent in a tough environment. He’ll bring a respectable 3.59 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and a 32/15 K/BB ratio (42 2/3 innings) into Sunday’s strong matchup against the White Sox in Chicago.

The 35-year-old southpaw walked four batters on the evening while punching out three. The Tigers scratched out a run against him in the second inning on an RBI double by Dillon Dingler, then added another in the fourth on a run-scoring single by Colt Keith after Riley Greene had swiped second. Corbin got just four whiffs on 93 pitches on the night, posting a CSW of 22 percent. He’ll carry an impressive 3.13 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and a 20/12 K/BB ratio (31 2/3 innings) into a premium matchup against the Rockies on Wednesday.

This start got off to a rough, well, start; as Corbin allowed a solo homer to J.P. Crawford on the first pitch and put runners on first-and-third with one out in the first inning. He was able to induce a double play, however, and didn’t give up another run. Corbin is not the same starter he was in the previous decade, but he hasn’t been nearly as bad as the hurler that scuffled so much for the Nationals for the majority of the last two years. He takes a 3.28 ERA into his start against the Tigers scheduled for Friday.

Corbin took a 1-0 lead into the fifth, but he gave up a two-run double to Tyler Soderstrom that cost him the shutout and the victory. It was still a decent outing for the 35-year-old, something that hasn’t been applicable to many of his starts over the last few years. Corbin is scheduled to get the red-hot Seattle offense at home Saturday.

Corbin surrendered a solo homer to Miguel Andujar in the second inning. Lawrence Butler then took him deep for a solo homer in the third. That would be all the damage the A’s could do despite scattering five more his and two walks. The 35-year-old left-hander currently lines up for a start against the Giants in San Francisco on Sunday, but Jack Leiter appears ready to come off the injured list and could step in to Corbin’s spot.

Wait, what year is it? Corbin has been terrible over the last few years and wasn’t effective in his first start against the Royals last Tuesday, but he struck out six in a start that was a glimpse — if you squinted real hard — of what Corbin used to be earlier in his career. A nice outing, but fantasy managers would be foolish to trust him to repeat it against the Athletics next week.
