Kremer limited Tampa Bay’s lineup to just one hit into the seventh inning during his final start of the regular season. The 29-year-old righty has dominated the division-rival Rays throughout 11 career starts against them with a 1.64 ERA during that span. He finishes the year with a serviceable 4.23 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 140/44 K/BB ratio across 170 1/3 innings over 30 appearances (29 starts).

Kremer struck out four batters on the night while issuing three free passes. He served up a two-run homer to Kyle Teel in the opening inning then kept the White Sox’ offense at bay for the remainder of his night. The 29-year-old hurler got 16 swings and misses on 97 pitches on the night — eight on his splitter — while posting a CSW of 25 percent. Now 10-10 with a 4.39 ERA on the season, he’ll look to finish the season strong when he takes on the Rays on Tuesday.

Kremer made it through last Friday’s bullpen session without any issues and will take the ball against Chicago for the middle game of this week’s three-game set. The 29-year-old righty was lifted from his previous start with forearm discomfort, but an MRI didn’t reveal any structural damage. He should be ready to roll for the final two weeks of the season, but the Orioles may exercise some caution with his workload since they’re out of playoff contention.

Kremer had an MRI on his forearm that came back clean, so he will throw an intense bullpen session on Friday in the hopes that he can return to the starting rotation next week.

It’s an encouraging update after Kremer was lifted from Friday’s start against the Dodgers with forearm discomfort. The 29-year-old righty doesn’t appear to be dealing with a serious injury, but the Orioles likely won’t take any chances with his health since they’re out of the playoff race with only three weeks left in the season. There should be a final decision on his status for the home stretch at some point in the coming days once he resumes throwing. It’ll likely be a bullpen game to fill his turn in Baltimore’s rotation on Friday against the Blue Jays although prospect Chayce McDermott could potentially be called up to make a spot start.

Chayce McDermott is with the team on the taxi squad and would replace Kremer on the active roster if a trip to the injured list is needed. Expect more clarity on the situation in the coming hours.

Kremer had allowed just one walk while striking out four batters over three scoreless frames before exiting. He’ll head for further evaluation, but that doesn’t sound encouraging. It wouldn’t be surprising to see the 29-year-old hurler ultimately require another trip to the injured list here and given how late we are in the season, it’s likely that it could be a season-ending injury.

That makes back-to-back start where Kremer has allowed seven runs after allowing just one run in 14 innings in the previous two outings. Baseball. Kremer just doesn’t miss enough bats to count on, and the last two counts have been visual evidence. He’ll try and avoid a third-straight clunkers next Friday, but that’s going to be against the Dodgers.

Kremer was hit hard to open the game against the Astros, giving up three homers to put five runs on the board for the Astros. Two hits and an error on a groundout plated two more runs for Houston in the third inning. Kremer would give the Orioles two more innings, ending his day after five with four strikeouts. The 29-year-old right-hander will take a 4.19 ERA, 1.23 WHIP, and a 127/38 K/BB ratio across 152 1/3 innings into a start against the Red Sox in Baltimore on Thursday.

Kremer gave up three hits, walked one and struck out seven. The 29-year-old right-hander has completed at least seven innings and allowed one run or less in each of his last two starts. Kremer has a 3.94 ERA and 123/37 K/BB ratio in 147 1/3 innings this year. He’s lined up to face the Astros at home next weekend.

Kremer was fantastic, but George Kirby was better. That’s how you get charged with a loss even after you give up just a run in the first inning and blank a talented Seattle lineup from that point on. It’s the first time all season Kremer has gone eight innings, and he’ll have a chance to build on this effort — while hoping for a semblance of run support — against the Astros on Sunday.

Not much luck for Kremer tonight. He struck out six and generated 16 whiffs, but he gave up eight hits despite allowing only six hard-hit balls. Two of the biggest were a Max Kepler two-run homer that only would have left five ballparks and a Bryson Stott RBI triple on a fly to right that went off the wall in Philly but that would have been an out in a lot of places. Kremer dropped to 8-8 with a 4.35 ERA ahead of a start next week against the Mariners.

Kremer looked better than this line might indicate, but a two-run homer by Myles Straw in the second and one more run in the fifth turned a solid outing into a mediocre — at best — effort. Kremer has had a lot of these types of outings, and it explains a 4.27 ERA in his 126 1/3 innings over 22 appearances. It’d be a mistake to trust him from a fantasy standpoint against the Phillies on Tuesday.

Sometimes baseball isn’t fair. After hitting four home runs over the first two innings of this game, the Orioles made tons of hard contact in this one that didn’t convert into runs. On the flip side, the Rockies had just five hard-hit balls against Kremer, and three of them directly turned into five runs. Those are the breaks and a disappointing result in what was supposed to be an easy matchup for Kremer. His next start is scheduled to come at home against the red-hot Blue Jays.

Kremer was outstanding on Saturday, holding the Rays to one run over seven frames. He had scattered two walks and two hits through six shutout innings before the Rays brought a run in to score on a walk, double, and groundout in the seventh. Kremer collected six strikeouts and went seven innings for the second straight start. The 29-year-old right-hander will take a 4.06 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, and a 94/30 K/BB ratio across 115 1/3 innings into a start against the Guardians in Cleveland on Thursday.

What a sensational start by Kremer. He had pinpoint command of both his fastball at the top of the zone and splitter below it to decimate the Marlins hitters all game. That splitter accounted for nine of his 12 swings-and-misses and again, he was putting it exactly where he wanted to nearly every time he threw it. While inconsistent, he can always twirl a gem when his command is as good as it was here.

Kremer surrendered a two-run homer to Austin Riley in the first inning. Matt Olson then got to him for a solo shot in the third. Two doubles, a walk, and a base hit brought home two more runs to tie the game in the fourth. Kremer recorded the first out in the fifth and was relieved at 87 pitches. The 29-year-old right-hander will take a 4.53 ERA, 1.32 WHIP, and an 81/26 K/BB ratio across 101 1/3 innings into a start against the Marlins in Baltimore on Friday.

Kremer struck out six and walked one. It’s the third time in a row that he’s allowed one or no runs, with the first of those outings also coming against the Rays. We doubt he’ll offer lasting value in mixed leagues, but he’s certainly throwing well right now, with his ERA dropping from 5.50 in mid-May to 4.27 currently. He’ll make his next start in Atlanta against the Braves.

Focusing more on his splitter than his cutter of late, Kremer has posted a nice 3.15 ERA in his last six starts, lowering his season mark from 5.50 to 4.60. We still wouldn’t recommend picking him up in mixed leagues, but at least he’s contributing in AL-only leagues now. He’ll face the Rays again next time out. He just held them to one run over five innings on Tuesday.

Kremer struck out four batters on the evening while issuing two walks. The lone blemish on his night came on an RBI single off the bat of Junior Caminero in the fourth inning. The 29-year-old hurler generated 10 swings and misses on 81 pitches on the night, registering a CSW of 23 percent. Even with this strong outing, Kremer still sports an underwhelming 4.80 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and a 65/23 K/BB ratio over 84 1/3 innings through his first 15 outings on the season. He’ll see if he can replicate the magic from this start when he does battle against the Yankees on Sunday afternoon in New York.

The right-hander racked up eight strikeouts in the ballgame while issuing a pair of free passes. All of the damage done against him came via the long ball in the fourth inning, with Dillon Dingler swatting a solo homer and Parker Meadows crushing a three-run shot. Kremer got 16 swings and misses on 103 pitches on the evening — 15 of those on his splitter — while registering a CSW of 26 percent. He’ll carry a disappointing 5.01 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and a 61/21 K/BB ratio (79 1/3 innings) into Tuesday’s start against the Rays in Tampa Bay.

Kremer was coming off an excellent start against the White Sox on Saturday, but he was nowhere close to as effective in his follow-up start. He struck out just two while allowing eight hits; giving fantasy managers an idea of how little he fooled the A’s lineup during Friday’s affair. Kremer looked good for most of June, but this was a reminder of what can go wrong when you don’t have quality swing-and-miss stuff. He’s a volatile option at best against the Tigers on Thursday.

Kremer held the White Sox off the board until a double and a base hit brought a run in to score in the fifth. He’d toss one more scoreless frame, holding Chicago to just the one run over six while striking out seven batters. The 29-year-old right-hander will take a 4.70 ERA, 1.39 WHIP, and a 51/18 K/BB ratio across 67 innings into a start against the Athletics in Sacramento on Friday.

Kremer allowed seven hits, but five of them were singles, and he posted a 28 percent whiff rate and 31 percent CSW on the day. In fact, the only pitch the Red Sox hit hard on Sunday was the curveball, which is Kremer’s least-used pitch. Kremer has a 5.02 ERA on the season, but makes for a solid streamer next week against the White Sox.

It’s basically identical to the outing he had against the Twins last time out. Kremer has given up at least four runs in six of his 10 starts while going 3-5 with a 5.50 ERA. Still, there isn’t going to be any pulling him from the Baltimore rotation any time soon. He’ll make his next start in Boston against the Red Sox.

Kremer had eight strikeouts, topping his previous season high by two. He’s lowered his ERA from 7.04 to 5.24 with his last two starts. It’s an obvious improvement, but still not a great figure for someone who has had one of the game’s easiest schedules. He’ll face the Twins again next time out.

The Orioles are going to give Kremer an extra day of rest this week by pushing him back to Wednesday’s finale against the Twins. He’ll take the ball on six days of rest for that one. No word yet on the club’s plans for Tuesday’s start, but it’ll likely be a bullpen game of some sort.

Kremer struck out just two and gave up 12 hard-hit balls tonight, but he allowed only a double and two singles. His velocity was actually down about one mph from where he’s typically sat this year, so we don’t see much of anything to be encouraged about here. He’ll take a 3-4 record and a 5.73 ERA into his next start versus the Twins.

The right-hander also issued four walks on the day while striking out three. He had allowed just two runs through the first four innings — a two-run double by Javier Baez in the second — but the Tigers added another in the fifth and two more while chasing Kremer in the sixth inning. The 29-year-old hurler got six whiffs on 97 pitches on the day, posting a CSW of 20 percent. He’ll bring a miserable 7.04 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 20/8 K/BB ratio (30 2/3 innings) into Saturday’s matchup against the Royals.

Kremer gave up the six hardest-hit balls of the game, all of them over 105 mph. They accounted for six hits and 15 total bases. The Orioles probably aren’t going to be able to do any better than Kremer in the near future, but this is yet another spot in their rotation that’s turned into a significant problem. Kremer is 2-3 with a 6.84 ERA ahead of his next start in Detroit.
