Pallante was sharp through two clean inning before falling apart in the third. Though, a fielding error with the bases loaded and no outs didn’t help as two runs would come in to score. The Giants plated three more runs before Pallante was replaced by John King with two outs, ending his day at 66 pitches with four strikeouts. The 27-year-old right-hander ends his season with a 5.31 ERA, 1.44 WHIP, and a 111/62 K/BB ratio across 162 2/3 innings.

Three of those runs were allowed on one swing of the bat, as Spencer Steer took Pallante deep for a three-run blast. The 26-year-old was ok after that, but damage done. Pallante has had some decent moments as a starter in 2025, but the overall experience has been shaky as seen in a 5.29 ERA over 160 innings. His final start of the campaign will come against the Giants next week.

Pallante gave up for hits, walked four and struck out none. The 26-year-old right-hander went without recording a strikeout for the second time in his last seven starts. This is also the fifth start where Pallante has recorded one or less strikeouts. He has a 5.34 ERA and 104 strikeouts in 155 innings this year. Pallante is lined up to face the Reds at home next week.

Pallante looked like he was going to get a hard-luck loss, but the Cardinals scored three in the bottom of the ninth to prevent that from happening. The 26-year-old allowed five hits with a walk, and he struck out three. Pallante has had mixed results at best in 2025 — a 5.28 ERA suggests that might be too kind — but there have been moments to suggest he can be a decent option someday. It’s a mistake in process to believe Friday against the Brewers will be one of those days.

Pallante was hit hard for the third straight start as he surrendered six hits, including a go-ahead homer to Austin Hays in the fifth inning. The 26-year-old figures to hang onto his rotation spot for now, but he’s really struggled in the second half. He’ll square off against the Giants on Saturday at Busch Stadium.

Pallante struck out three hitters on the evening while issuing one base on balls. The Pirates jumped on him early and often in this one, pushing five runs across in the opening inning, two more in the second and another in the third on a solo blast by Henry Davis. Pallante finished his day with two scoreless frames. The 26-year-old hurler got six whiffs on 91 pitches on the night, posting a CSW of only 21 percent. He now holds a miserable 5.44 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and a 95/48 K/BB ratio over 139 innings on the season. We’ll see if he sticks around to make his scheduled start against the Reds in Cincinnati on Sunday or if the Cardinals decide to explore other rotation options.

Pallante’s final line could’ve been a lot worse had he not managed to wriggle out of a bases-loaded jam in the fourth inning. He surrendered eight hits, including a sixth-inning solo shot to rookie Maximo Acosta. He struck out four and issued three walks. The 26-year-old righty has really hit a wall of late, posting a calamitous 7.22 ERA across his last seven starts since last month’s All-Star break. He’ll attempt to turn things around next week with a tasty matchup on Tuesday against the last-place Pirates.

Pallante gave up six hits, walked three and struck out eight. The 26-year-old right-hander has allowed at least four runs in five of his last seven starts. Pallante has a 5.04 ERA and 88/44 K/BB ratio in 128 2/3 innings this year. He’s lined up to face the Marlins on the road next week.

He walked one, didn’t strike out a batter, and posted a nine percent whiff rate and 21 percent CSW in an underwhelming start. The Cubs also tattooed him with a 95.4 mph average exit velocity on balls in play. Pallante lines up to start against the Yankees next week, but he should not be used in fantasy leagues.

Pallante struck out four batters on the afternoon while issuing three free passes. He pitched into and out of trouble through each of the first three innings, then finally served up a two-run homer to Jake Cronenworth in the fourth. The 26-year-old right-hander got 13 swings and misses on 93 pitches on the day, registering a CSW of 26 percent. He’ll carry an uninspiring 4.57 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and an 80/40 K/BB ratio (122 innings) into Saturday’s matchup against the Cubs.

Pallante struck out four and walked one while throwing 49 of his 81 pitches for strikes. He rode his slider to a 28 percent whiff rate and 26 percent CSW on the day, but is not a recommended streamer against the Padres over the weekend.

Pallante has given up 17 earned runs over 15 2/3 innings in his last three starts, all of which were against non-contenders. He’s dropped to 5-7 with a 4.91 ERA, and one wonders if he might be the next pitcher to get the boot from the St. Louis rotation. He’s slated to face the Marlins next time out.

Pallante walked two and struck out three. The right-hander had alternated strong outings with clunkers over the month-plus, but this makes back-to-back bad outings after giving up seven runs to the Nationals last Wednesday. That sees him rise his ERA to a less-than-spectacular 4.71, but he does have a friendly match-up on paper coming up against the Rockies next week.

The Cardinals will then follow with Sonny Gray on Saturday and Miles Mikolas on Sunday, which means Erick Fedde will likely start Monday against the Rockies in Coors Field, and Matthew Liberatore will follow on Tuesday.

He added just two strikeouts. Pallante got off to a bad start when Nathaniel Lowe took him deep for a three-run home run in the first inning. Pallante threw him one of the fattest hanging curveballs a pitcher could ever throw and Lowe smoked it. Then, he gave up three more in the fourth and another in the fifth. This was only the second time since May 10 where Pallante let in more than three runs.

Pallante got off to a bad start here when Nathaniel Lowe took him deep for a three-run home run in the first inning. He threw him one of the fattest hanging curveballs a pitcher could ever throw and Lowe smoked it. Then, he gave up three more in the fourth and another in the fifth. This was only the second time since May 10th where Pallante let in more than three runs despite never being a guy that forces many swings-and-misses.

Pallante struck out three and walked two. Andrew McCutchen was actually responsible for those two walks and the lone hit; everyone else in the Pirates lineup combined to go 0-for-20 while Pallante was in the game. Alas, it was still scoreless when Pallante’s night came to an end, and Phil Maton went on to give up a run in the eighth. Pallante, now sporting a 4.10 ERA, probably won’t pitch again until next Tuesday against the Nationals, as the Cardinals have two off days coming up.

Pallante had really good velocity today and got 12 whiffs, but he nonetheless settled for two strikeouts. It’s his first loss since May 21, even though he’d had a start with seven runs allowed and two starts with four runs allowed since then. He’s 5-4 with a 4.43 ERA overall. Pitching for the same Cardinals team, Erick Fedde is 3-7 with a 4.11 ERA. Pallante will likely face the Pirates next week.

Pallante kept the ball on the ground tonight, and the nine hard-hit balls he surrendered produced only one double and one single. It was still just a 1-0 game when Pallante departed, but the Cardinals scored five runs the next inning to settle things. The win was Pallante’s first in six starts. He’s currently 5-3 with a 4.48 ERA overall, and he’s slated to face the Cubs next week.

Pallante was given seven runs of support, but the Cardinals still didn’t trust him to finish off the fifth with three runs already in during the inning. Kyle Leahy took over and retired William Contreras and Christian Yelich to end the rally. Pallante remained 4-3 with a 4.83 ERA. He’ll face the Reds next.

Even if’s not a win, Pallante needed to show some improvement tonight and did so in lowering his ERA to 4.75. It’s Pallante’s first quality start in his last four tries and fifth in 13 outings overall. He’s set to pitch in Milwaukee this weekend.

The 26-year-old right-hander struck out a pair of batters on the night and didn’t allow a walk. Pallante served up a two-run homer to Bobby Witt Jr. in the opening inning, but then settled in after the Cardinals staked him to a 7-2 lead. That all fell apart in the fifth though, as he gave up a one-out solo homer to Nick Loftin and then four consecutive singles, including a two-run knock off the bat of Witt. Pallante got just six whiffs on 71 pitches on the night, posting a CSW of only 24 percent. Despite a miserable 4.91 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 44/23 K/BB ratio (66 innings) on the season, the Cardinals will probably still trot Pallante out there against the Blue Jays on Monday instead of giving Michael McGreevy the opportunity he deserves.

Pallante allowed six hits, walked three and struck out seven, which matches his season high. It’s the second straight outing in which he’s been pulled one out shy of a quality start. He wasn’t involved in the decision, so he remains 4-3 with a 4.23 ERA. Because the Cardinals have two off days coming up, Pallante is due to make his next start next Tuesday against the Royals.

Pallante was excellent on Saturday, holding the Nationals scoreless over the first seven innings. He would start the eighth giving up a base hit with one out before Dylan Crews took him deep for a two-run homer to finally put the Nationals on the board. That would end Pallante’s day with seven strikeouts. The 26-year-old right-hander will take a 4.36 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, and a 28/16 K/BB ratio across 43 1/3 innings into a start against the Royals in Kansas City on Friday.

The 26-year-old right-hander also issued four free passes on the night while recording just one strikeout. All of the damage done against him came in the third inning, as Pete Alonso, Starling Marte and Francisco Alvarez each delivered run-scoring singles. Pallante got three swings and misses on 72 pitches in the contest, posting a miserable CSW of only 14 percent. With Michael McGreevy beating down the door, Pallante could be in danger of losing his spot in the Cardinals’ rotation if he doesn’t turn things around soon. He’ll carry a 4.75 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and a 21/16 K/BB ratio (36 innings) into Saturday’s matchup against the Nationals in Washington.

Pallante was left on the hook for the loss during Monday’s series opener when he surrendered a solo homer to Jose Trevino and a go-ahead triple to Noelvi Marte a couple frames later. He finished with four strikeouts and only issued two walks. He’ll carry a respectable 4.13 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 20/12 K/BB ratio across 32 2/3 innings (six starts) into a home outing on Saturday against the red-hot Mets.

Pallante also issued three free passes on the evening while recording only one strikeout. He kept the Braves off the board through the first three innings, but the wheels fell off for him in the fourth as they pushed three runs across — including a solo homer off the bat of Sean Murphy. Pallante also served up a solo homer to Matt Olson before exiting in the fifth. The right-hander got seven swings and misses on 83 pitches on the night, registering a CSW of 24 percent. He’ll look to bounce back as he brings a 4.05 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and a 16/10 K/BB ratio (26 2/3 innings) into Tuesday’s matchup against the Reds in Cincinnati.

Pallante had velocity issues this spring, but he figured it out at the end of March and actually averaged 95.2 mph with his fastball in his season debut. Since then, though, he’s fallen off to 93.8 mph, 93.2 mph and 92.4 mph tonight. He has a 3.22 ERA for the season, but he won’t keep that up for much longer if he can’t arrest this decline. He’ll face the Braves next.
