Raley continues to rake, and absolutely clobbered a homer off Nathan Eovaldi that would have been a homer in all 30 parks with an expected batting average of .830. The 31-year-old has run hot-and-cold throughout his career, but obviously this is a hot streak. Fantasy managers could do worse than Raley as one of their final outfielders, but have to keep in mind he’s not going to play against lefties.

His homer was a 434-footer, and he also had a 390-foot double that would have been a homer in 16 ballparks, according to Statcast. Raley currently has a 1.035 OPS that’s about twice as high as three of the five guys ahead of him in the Seattle lineup. Maybe that could lead to some sort of shakeup, but we’ll see.

Today’s game was the second of the year in which the Mariners had to sit either Raley or Dominic Canzone against a righty with Cal Raleigh DHing. Raley has gotten the start both times, and it’s been a pretty easy call. He has the better offensive numbers, even if their xwOBAs are practically identical, and he has the better glove in right field, as he showed off while making the next-to-last out today on a jumping catch at the wall. Canzone hasn’t even gotten a start in the outfield yet this season. Raley, now hitting .294/.345/.569, still hasn’t started any games against lefties, but that might happen while Victor Robles is on the IL.

Raley doubled twice, and his second two-bagger drove in a pair of runs to extend Seattle’s lead to 6-1. The 31-year-old hasn’t homered since going deep in the first three games, but his overall slash of .255/.314/.532 will certainly play.

After sitting two straight games against left-handed starters, Raley will be back in the starting lineup today. The bad news is that he’s facing Cam Schlittler and then will likely sit again on Friday when the Mariners face left-hander Reid Detmers. Raley will have some value in fantasy leagues, but you need to be in a format where it’s easy to bench him when the Mariners face a lot of lefties.

No surprise here with Yankees ace Max Fried taking the ball on Tuesday night at T-Mobile Park. Dominic Canzone is also taking a seat in this one. Raley will continue sitting against most left-handed starters, but he’ll do enough damage against righties to have some appeal in deeper mixed leagues. It’ll be Victor Robles in right field with lefty-masher Rob Refsnyder at DH.

The two sluggers were held out of the lineup on Saturday with a left-hander on the mound, but they’re right back in there for the third time in four games on Sunday. The M’s are set to tangle with three left-handers next week — including two in a row to start against the Yankees — so they don’t make for the best streaming options off waivers in the short-term.

Raley has homered in back-to-back games, but he’ll begin Saturday’s — and any game that is started by a left-hander — game out, with Victor Robles getting the start in right.

Raley connected on a 390-foot (104.9 mph EV) two-run shot off of Colin Holderman in the sixth inning of this one, extending the Mariners’ lead to 5-2. He’s off to a strong start to the 2026 campaign, hitting .250 (2-for-8) with a pair of long balls and three RBI through his first two games. If he swats another home run over the weekend, he could end up drawing some serious free agent bids in leagues where he’s still available.

Raley was responsible for Seattle’s only run with a solo dinger off JP Sears. The 31-year-old has been one of the streakier players in baseball of the past few seasons, and that inconsistency along with his inability to hit lefties — although the homer was off one Saturday — makes him someone fantasy managers can’t consider in the majority of leagues.

The 30-year-old slugger had been shelved since July 30 due to back spasms. He looked good on a recent minor league rehab assignment though and is ready to return and mash right-handed pitching once more. Miles Mastrobuoni was optioned to Triple-A Tacoma in a corresponding move on Friday.

The expectation is that the 30-year-old will remain there through the weekend before being re-evaluated. If everything checks out, he could be ready to return to the Mariners in advance of Tuesday’s series opener against the Orioles in Baltimore.

Raley hit the injured list last week with back spasms and shouldn’t need a ton of time to ramp back up now that the issue has been put to bed.

This is the move that clears room for Tyler Locklear to make his season debut. Raley had already mostly fallen out of the picture for the Mariners following the Josh Naylor acquisition, and there was some thought that he might get traded. That’s probably off the table now.

Raley hit his first homer since returning from his oblique injury Friday, and this one was clobbered to center with an estimated distance of 436 feet. The 30-year-old is expected to hit in the middle of the order against right-handers, and he’ll get a chance to drive in some pretty good players when he’s in the lineup. Just keep in mind that he’s been one of the most inconsistent hitters in the sport over the last two-plus seasons.

Raley came off the bench and went 1-for-3 with a double during Friday’s series opener against the Cubs at Wrigley Field just a few hours after being activated from the injured list. The 30-year-old corner outfielder wound up missing nearly two months with a right oblique strain. He’ll factor into Seattle’s right field mix and could also spend some time at first base with Rowdy Tellez gone from the picture.

Raley wound up missing nearly eight weeks with a strained oblique. He’s back now after going 7-for-19 with a homer in five games for Triple-A Tacoma. He’ll start against righties and primarily play first base after the Mariners cut Rowdy Tellez to make room for him. He should offer some fantasy value in deeper leagues, though probably not 10- and 12-teamers.

Raley has been out since late April with an oblique string, and his return would be a welcome addition to the Mariners lineup. In his first four rehab games with Triple-A Tacoma, Raley is 5-for-14 with a homer, a double, a walk and a strikeout. He hit 22 home runs for the Mariners last season and could be a decent source of power and deeper formats when he returns.

Raley has been out since the end of April with his oblique strain. The 30-year-old will likely need a handful of games in Triple-A, and then he should return to a regular role against right-handed pitching with the Mariners in the middle of June.

Raley had been hoping to start a rehab assignment this week, but he is instead settling for max effort batting practice. The 30-year-old reportedly felt good after the swings and hopes to start his rehab assignment next week.

Raley is set to ramp up baseball activities this week with the goal of heading out next week on a rehab assignment. The 30-year-old corner outfielder has been out since late April with a right oblique strain. He should make it back to Seattle’s lineup by mid-June.

Raley was scratched from Tuesday’s lineup after tweaking his back during batting practice, and he’ll miss at least one more game with the issue. Samad Taylor will start in Raley’s place and hit ninth while handling right field.

Raley also drew a walk. It’s nice to see him drive the baseball Saturday, as he is still just slugging .289 on the young campaign. Raley has been hot-and-cold for the past two-plus seasons, and the hope is that this is the start of a hot run for the 30-year-old outfielder/infielder.
