Pritchard was expected to pop this season as a starter, and while he has been able to occupy that role, he hasn’t been as productive as many hoped. Last season, he averaged 3.2 three-pointers per game, but this was the first game this year that he hit more than two shots from deep. Pritchard will continue to play a large role on offense for the Celtics, and hopefully this was a performance that will get him going from beyond the arc.

This was a solid response from Brown after he was held to just 12 points in Boston’s last game, which came after two straight 30-point outings. However, this was the second straight game that he didn’t get a three-pointer to fall, and he missed all nine attempts in this one. Brown will continue to be the primary scoring option for Boston, and he has a favorable matchup in their next game against the Wizards on Wednesday.

Hauser replaced Josh Minott to start the second half of this game, but that didn’t lead to a good performance from either player. Hauser played 28 minutes to Minott’s 15, and it’s worth keeping an eye on to see if this is a move that will carry over into the Celtics’ game against the Wizards on Wednesday, or if this was just a result of Minott being in foul trouble again. Hauser is a good source of three-pointers, but Minott is a superior option in most other categories.

Hunter, who has been a starter due to Max Strus’ absence, is averaging 18.2 points per game, which would be a career-best if he were to sustain it. Of even greater value to category-league managers has been his improved production in other key categories, most notably rebounds and assists. Hunter goes into Week 3 providing top-100 value in eight cat formats, exceeding his Yahoo! ADP of 140. Cleveland doesn’t play again until Wednesday, so there’s no need to add Hunter yet. But he’ll be worth a look in a few days, as Cleveland plays three games in the final five days of Week 3.

While the Cavaliers’ injuries thus far have been aggravating, Tyson’s increased confidence has been a positive. The second-year wing, filling in for Sam Merrill, has scored 18 points or more in three straight games. Rostered in five percent of Yahoo! leagues, Tyson is providing 12th-round value in eight-cat formats. However, Cleveland plays three games during Week 3, and none until Wednesday. If Merrill remains out, Tyson will be worth a look in deep leagues, but there’s no need to move right now.

Mitchell showed no ill effects from the lingering hamstring issue that kept him out of Friday’s loss to the Raptors. He played 36 minutes on Sunday and was efficient as a scorer, shooting over 57 percent from the field. Also, Mitchell knocked down a season-high eight three-pointers against the Hawks. As long as the hamstring injury doesn’t flare up, Spida will provide excellent fantasy value throughout the season. Lonzo Ball, who started for Mitchell on Friday, played 27 minutes and finished with eight points, six rebounds, three assists, one steal and two three-pointers.

While the Cavaliers get Mitchell back after he missed Friday’s loss to the Raptors, they remain without Sam Merrill and Jarrett Allen. Minott continues to provide a spark in his Celtics debut as he’s found a way to contribute across the board for fantasy purposes. He’s been a bit streaky as a shooter, but he’s done a nice job chipping in from a defense and rebounding standpoint thanks to his athleticism and motor. He’s worthy of a speculative roster spot in deeper fantasy leagues as he’ll remain a key component of the new-look Celtics’ rotation moving forward. Boston begins a four-game week with favorable home matchups against the rebuilding Jazz and Wizards before heading to Orlando for back-to-back road contests.

Allen missed Friday’s game after he suffered a non-displaced fracture of his left right finger earlier in the week. It’s unclear how much more time the 27-year-old center could miss, but he’s listed as questionable putting his status in doubt on Sunday. Mitchell missed Friday’s game against the Raptors with a hamstring injury. Now his status for Sunday’s game is up in the air given his questionable injury designation. Both players scored 15 points in the Celtics’ one-point win over the 76ers on Friday night. Pritchard and White are both probable with various injuries on the second night of a back-to-back against the Rockets. It’s likely both of them suit up given their probable injury designations. Anfernee Simons would be counted on for even more scoring if either Pritchard or White is ultimately ruled out.

Hunter was one of primary beneficiaries of Jarrett Allen, Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland all missing this game. The 27-year-old small forward played 34 minutes, had 26 points and made four three-pointers, all of which are season-highs at this point for Hunter. He should have some opportunities to step up and have big games when his teammates return from injury because he’s still one of the Cavaliers’ starting players.

Mobley was set up for fantasy success in this one with the Cavaliers down Jarrett Allen, Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland. The 24-year-old center didn’t disappoint with a 29-point effort and filling up the rest of the stat sheet. Pritchard shot 40.7 percent from behind the three-point line last year, but entering play Friday he was at 18.9 percent this year. The 27-year-old point guard proceeded to go 1-of-9 from three-point land against the 76ers on Friday. Simons had 19 points in 29 minutes off the bench, but he could’ve had a lot more if he shot better than 33 percent from the field. The 26-year-old shooting guard had more attempts than anyone else wearing Celtic green, including Jaylen Brown, who had 32 points. After falling one rebound shy of a double-double in Monday’s win over the Pelicans, his first start as a Celtic, Minott was even better on the glass against Cleveland.
