Moody returned from a 10-game absence with a wrist injury on Monday. Unfortunately, his night ended early with what will end up as a season-ending injury. The former lottery pick had an excellent game in Monday’s win and has enjoyed the best season of his career. However, he won’t be available to help Golden State during the postseason. Gui Santos was pushed to the bench with Moody back, but Santos should be back in the starting lineup, at least until Stephen Curry (knee) returns.

Podziemski delivered a well-rounded performance on Monday. In the win, he logged 40 minutes and shot the ball efficiently en route to his fifth 20-point performance of March. He also led all rebounders before coming away with his fourth double-double of the season. After some recent slippage, Monday’s final stat line is one that could leave fantasy managers encouraged and optimistic about what kind of production to expect from Podziemski in the near future.

Porzingis played 29 minutes following his one-game absence and was fairly productive during his time on the floor. While he didn’t shoot efficiently, he finished among the three Warriors players with at least 20 points. Meanwhile, his handful of assists and contributions on the glass helped round out his performance. The big takeaway here, however, is that Porzingis appeared to come out of this matchup without any injuries. A healthy Porzingis could have value during the fantasy playoffs.

Moody was very active on both ends of the floor in his first 34 minutes back from a 10-game absence — he produced a team-high in points, while his disruptiveness led him to a game-high five stocks. Unfortunately, his final steal came with under one minute left in overtime, which led him to a non-contact knee injury as he tried to finish a fastbreak dunk. The fifth-year guard was stretchered off the floor and did not return. There hasn’t been an official diagnosis yet, but if the injury is as bad as it looked, players such as Gary Payton II, LJ Cryer, and Will Richard should see increased minutes going forward.

White once again provided value in categories outside of field-goal percentage, as he finished with six rebounds and three steals. His shooting has improved recently, with the Celtics guard making 43.7 percent of his field-goal attempts over the past two weeks. Even on nights when his shots aren’t falling, White provides excellent value, especially in category leagues, more often than not. The Celtics play three games in Week 22, starting with the Thunder on Wednesday.

Like Jaylen Brown, Tatum did not have a great night shooting the basketball, finishing 2-of-7 from beyond the arc. The good news for category league managers was that he was effective as a rebounder, and the two steals will also help. The Celtics are off until Wednesday; maybe the extra time off will help Tatum, as he’s shooting just 37.5 percent from the field over the last week.

The good news for fantasy managers is that Brown put up a high point total. However, he was made to work for everything by the Timberwolves, and category league managers in tight battles may be in trouble based on the field-goal percentage. Williams’ 19 points on Saturday were a season-high for him, and he did it on 8-of-9 shooting from the field. He didn’t offer much beyond the points, and one game does not make a player of Williams’ caliber a must-have on any fantasy roster. Melton had a good night despite the Warriors being on the wrong end of a blowout, recording his second 20-point game in his last four outings. He has provided 10th-round value in eight-cat formats since the All-Star break, shooting 41.4 percent from the field. Of the three, Green’s status is most important since he’s locked in as a starter. Post could start, as the Warriors won’t have Kristaps Porziņǵis, but a move into the first five would not significantly impact his short-term fantasy prospects. While he was not in the starting lineup for Friday’s game, that did not stop Garza from having one of his most productive nights of the season. He played 27 minutes to starting center Neemias Queta’s 18 against the Grizzlies, shooting 75 percent from the field. All that Garza’s final line lacked was a blocked shot. Porziņǵis only played 11 minutes on Friday, as lower back soreness banished him to the locker room during the second quarter. While considered questionable to return, Porziņģis never did, as the game got out of hand. Even worse for the Warriors was Malevy Leons (five points, one rebound, one assist, and one three-pointer), who started the third quarter with KP out, leaving during the fourth quarter with a right wrist injury. Podziemski recorded a complete stat line on Friday, which helps compensate for the 15 points scored. After scoring 25 points in consecutive games, he’s tallied 15 or fewer in each of his last three. Had Pritchard not begun the season as a starter, he would be a candidate for Sixth Man of the Year, which he won last season. Strong three-point shooting was the highlight of White’s productive offensive performance. He sank a handful, which accounted for all but six of his total points on a night in which he finished as one of three Celtics with at least 20 points. The versatile combo guard also contributed well as a facilitator along the way to help Boston earn a second consecutive win. Tatum reached the 20-point mark for the fourth consecutive game on Monday as he tied a season-high in minutes played. Brown went for more than 30 points for the second time in the past three games, using an 18-point fourth-quarter explosion to help lead Boston to victory. While he missed all three of his two-point attempts, White was a respectable 3-of-8 from beyond the arc. The Celtics’ guard’s percentages from two and from three have taken significant dips in comparison to his 2024-25 numbers, but he remains a highly valuable option in category leagues.
