After going on a streak of five consecutive games with a steal, Christie did not record any in the four games he played before Sunday. The Mavericks’ guard picked up two against the Thunder, and his ability to consistently provide value in that category will be critical for his fantasy outlook moving forward. While a capable shooter, Christie is not a prolific scorer, so category league managers certainly need a bit more from him in the “other” categories. In addition to the two steals, he grabbed seven rebounds, the third time he’s hit that number in a game since New Year’s Day.

Williams made a second consecutive start on Sunday, but his playing time took a slight hit. After logging 26 minutes in Friday’s loss to the Grizzlies, he played 24 against the Thunder, and Ryan Nembhard’s availability was a factor. Dallas converted the rookie from a two-way contract to a standard deal, so he’s eligible to play for the rest of this season. Nembhard logged 24 minutes in his return to the rotation on Sunday, finishing with seven points, two rebounds, five assists, one steal and one three-pointer. Between Nembhard’s return and the eventual returns of P.J. Washington and Naji Marshall, Williams’ fantasy prospects for the silly season don’t look too promising.

Back in action after missing Friday’s loss to the Grizzlies, Martin was inserted into the starting lineup due to Naji Marshall (finger) being out. He took advantage of the opportunity, leading the Mavericks in scoring while shooting 3-of-5 from beyond the arc. Unfortunately, Martin shot 50 percent from the foul line and did not offer much production outside of points and three-pointers. While starting does raise his fantasy ceiling, Martin has not been a dependable option for managers this season. What works in his favor for Week 19 is that Dallas plays four games, starting with the Hornets on Tuesday.

Nelson enjoyed a productive stint with Alabama to finish out the last two years of his college career, and he’s posted solid numbers for the Long Island Nets of the G League this season. Having totaled 17 points in his last three games, Wolf was more productive against the Spurs. The 14 points were the most the rookie has scored in a game since the Nets’ final game before the All-Star break, with Wolf hitting that number in a loss to the Pacers. His fantasy value for the rest of the season depends partly on Michael Porter Jr.'s availability. When MPJ is logging starters’ minutes, as he did on Thursday, it’s challenging to get too much value out of Wolf. Claxton may not have done much on the glass or as a shot-blocker, but he provided excellent value in the assist and steal categories on Tuesday. The nine helpers were the most in a game for him since December 6, when Clax dished out ten as part of a triple-double against the Pelicans. One thing fantasy managers know they’re going to get from Porter, when he’s on the floor, is scoring. While the production has been a bit inconsistent recently, he’s scored at least 22 points in three of his last five games. Traoré had another impressive performance on Friday, scoring in double figures for the fifth time in his past six appearances. The rookie guard used a combination of interior scoring and free-throw production to tally most of his points, and did a good job defensively of collecting stocks.
