Williams continues to be an underrated option in fantasy basketball, and he was productive once again as a starter on Tuesday. Williams is rostered in just 14 percent of Yahoo! leagues, but what has made him a valuable streaming option is Brooklyn’s five-game week that they’re currently in the midst of. Williams has provided top-75 value in nine-cat leagues over the past week, and he could certainly continue to produce at that level for the rest of the week. They still have three more games, so it isn’t too late to reap the rewards.

Thomas missed the first night of the back-to-back for Brooklyn, but he returned to the lineup on Tuesday. He got right back to being an elite scoring option and contributed 16 of his 27 points in the first half. Not only was this Thomas’ highest-scoring performance since November, but his 32 minutes were also the most that he has played in a game since then. Brooklyn still has three more games this week, though they have a back-to-back on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday’s game is a tougher matchup (Boston), so expect Thomas to play in that game and sit out against Atlanta on Sunday.

Kuminga, who has been sidelined since early January, will provide a new dynamic to the red-hot Warriors’ rotation. Hield came off the bench as usual Monday, but with Brandin Podziemski (back) out he was more involved in the offense than usual. The 32-year-old shooting guard had 20 points including six 3-pointers, but also dished out a season-high seven assists. Hield’s last game with more than five assists was back in November, making this an outlier we’re unlikely to see again soon.

Butler, undoubtedly the big winner of the trade deadline at this point, came off back-to-back games with at least 25 points to have his best game as a Warrior yet. The 35-year-old small forward dropped a triple-double on the Trail Blazers. Butler also contributed three steals on the defensive end. After an ineffective 18-minute runout in his return from a sprained ankle on Saturday, Clowney was far more impactful against the Lakers. He shot 3-of-8 from beyond the arc and recorded a steal and a blocked shot. The 19 points are the most Clowney has scored in a game since January 14 against Portland, and the Nets forward has the potential to be a “silly season” standout. However, it’s possible that Clowney won’t play in Tuesday’s game against the Cavaliers for injury management reasons.

While efficiency has been an issue for Johnson this season, that was not the case on Monday. He made 60 percent of his attempts against the Lakers and finished one blocked shot shy of a complete stat line. While Johnson has been ranked outside the top 150 over the past month, the circumstances in Brooklyn make him worth a roll of the dice in deep leagues. Occasionally, he’ll have a night like Monday that rewards fantasy managers for their patience.

The Nets’ seven-game losing streak ended on Monday, and the team’s balanced offensive effort was a factor. Johnson was one of three Nets to score at least 18 points, with Keon Johnson and Noah Clowney being the others. Over the past month, Cam has been a seventh-round player in eight- and nine-cat formats. On a team with Steph Curry, there’s only one guy you want taking a game-winning three-pointer - Draymond Green. Down 108-107 with 35 seconds left, Green nailed a wide-open trey to give the Warriors a lead they would not relinquish. Podz exited after playing just one minute on Thursday due to lower back soreness. However, it may just be a one-game issue. Podziemski could certainly be back to play Detroit on Saturday, but if he isn’t, Buddy Hield and Gary Payton II would be in line for more minutes. Gui Santos started the second half in place of Podz, and while that is a possibility against the Pistons, Kerr could opt to start someone else. Since his first few games with Golden State, Butler hadn’t been as aggressive as a scorer in recent games. However, he had some success on Thursday and had his second 25-point game since being traded to the Warriors, with the first coming in his debut for them almost a month ago. This was an ideal game for Brooklyn. A competitive loss is what every tanking team craves. It was also an encouraging performance for Johnson, who had his highest-scoring game in over two months. Though Brooklyn isn’t that far out of the Play-In Tournament, it would be surprising if they truly made a push to make it. Johnson was in and out of the lineup over the final few weeks of last season, and managers should expect that to happen again this year. Luckily, it didn’t start until late March last season, so there should be more time before that is a risk.

Brooklyn jumped out to a 25-5 lead on Thursday, but it wasn’t enough for them to get the win over Golden State. Martin was a big part of their early success as he scored 13 of his 17 points in the first half. Martin hasn’t been much of a factor in fantasy basketball this season outside of a few big scoring nights. However, he has played a consistent role for the Nets lately, and he may see his minutes increase as the season winds down. Martin is a player to keep an eye on as “silly season” approaches.

Who anticipated this? Claxton, whose previous career-high for assists was six, dished out 10 dimes and nearly recorded a triple-double in Thursday’s loss. Claxton has been a strong category league player over the last few seasons because of his contributions in rebounds, blocks and field goal percentage, and managers shouldn’t expect Claxton to continue to be a reliable source of assists. Still, it was a fun boost on Thursday and encouraging for his overall value, especially if Jordi Fernandez does continue to use him as a playmaking option.

GP2 was sidelined against New York on Tuesday due to a nasal fracture, but he was back in the lineup against Brooklyn. Generally, he hasn’t been much of a contributor in fantasy basketball, but he was able to chip in some value off the bench in this game. Brandin Podziemski exited after playing just one minute due to lower back soreness, and while Payton II didn’t start the second half in his place, he was important in helping Golden State get the win. What an impressive trip to the East it was for Curry. He led Golden State to a 4-1 record on the trip, and they’ve now won eight of their last nine games. He started the trip off with a season-high 56 points in Orlando and closed it out with 40 points in Brooklyn. With Cam Thomas back in the lineup, Johnson’s shot attempts took a hit Tuesday night. The 10 attempts are the fewest he’s had in a game since February 10, but the good news for fantasy managers is that Johnson snapped out of his three-point funk. After shooting 0-of-10 from beyond the arc in Saturday’s loss to the Pistons, he made three of his six attempts in San Antonio. Like D’Angelo Russell, availability has been an issue for Thomas. He’s only appeared in two games since injuring his hamstring on January 2, limiting his fantasy upside. And with the Nets playing two back-to-backs during Week 19, Thomas may be looking at a three-game week at best. Tuesday’s game was the second for Russell since the All-Star break, and availability will be a concern for the rest of the season. And with the Nets only two games behind 10th-place Chicago in the loss column, a little more “effort” may be required from the front office to improve the team’s lottery odds. That would be bad news for managers looking to Russell for production during the fantasy playoffs. The Warriors are now 9-1 with Jimmy Butler on the court, as his presence on the offensive end gives the team an element it sorely needs. While the stat line wasn’t robust, he has provided top 100 value in eight- and nine-cat formats as a Warrior. While the Warriors have benefitted immensely from the addition of Jimmy Butler, he’s done wonders for Podziemski’s fantasy value. On the final day of his 10-day contract, Hayes returned to the city where his NBA career began. The former lottery pick struggled against the team that drafted him, shooting 1-of-6 from the field while providing modest production in the rebound and assist categories. The Nets will have a decision to make regarding Killian. The health of D’Angelo Russell will likely influence the Nets’ decision regarding Hayes. Reece Beekman (3/1/1/3 in 26 minutes) may figure more prominently in the bench rotation if the Nets do not re-sign Hayes and Russell remains out.
