Claxton will be available after sitting out Tuesday’s loss to the Raptors for rest reasons. His return means Drew Timme will head to the bench, with the rookie losing some fantasy value. However, Timme will continue to play rotation minutes, especially with Day’Ron Sharpe (knee) still sidelined.

While Keon will get a rest day on Tuesday, Cameron will miss a fourth straight game with a back injury. One of those two will likely move into the starting five, raising their streaming value to managers whose leagues remain active.

While he has not been a fantasy asset during his first two NBA seasons, Whitehead has recently been given more opportunities to show what he can do. After scoring 17 points in an April 3 loss to the Timberwolves, the second-year guard has reached double figures in two straight games for the first time. There’s no need to add Whitehead now, but he’ll have value if the Nets decide to shut down Cameron Johnson. At this point, it would be somewhat surprising if they didn’t hold out the veteran wing for the season’s final week.

Timme started Sunday’s game for Nic Claxton, who was held out for rest reasons. The undrafted center out of Gonzaga has had his moments since joining the Nets, playing well enough to merit being streamed on nights when he’s allowed to start. The Nets’ four-game Week 23 includes a back-to-back, so managers whose leagues will be active may have another opportunity to stream Timme.

Beekman started Sunday’s game for D’Angelo Russell, who was held out with a sore right ankle. The undrafted rookie out of Virginia was solid, and his value moving forward depends on Russell’s availability. The Nets aren’t going to the playoffs, so Beekman may have another opportunity to start during the final week of the regular season. Brooklyn plays four games during Week 23, beginning with the Pelicans on Tuesday.

After three straight games of 25 points or more, Randle scored 26 in his last two appearances, shooting a combined 9-of-22 from the field. However, despite the downtick in scoring, he has remained an eighth-round player in nine-cat formats over the past week. Randle has provided solid value in the rebound and assist categories, thus preserving some of his fantasy value. The Timberwolves don’t play again until Tuesday when they visit the Bucks.

Anthony Edwards wasn’t the only Timberwolves scorer taking advantage of frequent mismatches as the 76ers didn’t have an answer for Gobert, either. The veteran center recorded another elite stat line, eclipsing 21 points and 18 rebounds for the second straight games. The “Stifle Tower” also recorded five “stocks.” Over the past two weeks, Gobert has provided top-20 per-game value in eight- and nine-cat formats. Gobert managers whose leagues are not finished are likely happy that he’ll have four games to play during Week 23.

Edwards was outstanding on Saturday, as the undermanned 76ers had no answer for him defensively. The Timberwolves star woke up the Philadelphia crowd early in the first quarter with one of the dunks of the season. And his three-pointer late in the fourth quarter as the shot clock expired sent everyone to the exits. The 37 points are the most for Edwards since March 17, when he scored 38 in a loss to the Pacers. For fantasy managers whose seasons run through Week 23, the Timberwolves play four games, starting with the Bucks on Tuesday.

Williams and Wilson are back, with the former likely returning to the starting lineup. If so, Maxwell Lewis is most likely headed to the bench. Claxton got last Saturday off for rest before returning Monday against the Mavericks, though he had just six points in 27 minutes. The 25-year-old center had a much better effort against the Timberwolves Thursday as he scored 18 points on 9-of-10 shooting from the field. Claxton started and played 24 minutes, though Drew Timme came off the bench and also played 24 minutes. Claxton should continue to start when available, but it appears he’s ceding some minutes to Timme.

Russell missed last Saturday’s game with an ankle injury but had a nice game in his return against the Mavericks on Monday with 18 points, five rebounds and 11 assists. The 29-year-old point guard had a terrible game against the Timberwolves Thursday. Seemingly out of nowhere, Russell was held without points as he missed all six of his field goal attempts. He played just 13 minutes, which had to do with his effectiveness and not his ankle injury. Russell will look to bounce back Sunday against the Raptors.

Randle had scored at least 25 points in each of his last three games entering play Thursday but was quiet on the offensive end in this one. The 30-year-old power forward had just 11 points on 11 attempts including three made three-pointers. It was a slow start to the game for Edwards, but things started clicking for him late in the game. He scored 13 points in the fourth quarter, including a pair of triples with less than three minutes left in regulation that gave Minnesota a late lead. He added six more points in the first overtime period and five more in the second, which was enough for the Timberwolves to squeak out a road win over the Nuggets. NAW was Minnesota’s primary reserve option on Tuesday, with Donte DiVincenzo and Naz Reid serving suspensions. He came up big for them late, hitting multiple big shots and finally winning the game after being fouled on a three-pointer with 0.1 seconds left in the game. He made the first two and missed the final shot intentionally to end the game. This was a new season-high for scoring for NAW, and he approached triple-double territory. With both Donte DiVincenzo and Naz Reid serving their suspension for their involvement in the brawl with the Pistons, head coach Chris Finch turned to Minott for reserve minutes. Johnson has been playing a significant role since December, but Monday’s performance was one of his best in a while. This was his highest-scoring night since he had 25 points on February 5, and it was only his third game with at least 20 points in March.
