Henderson’s 22 points were the most he’s had in a game since January 30. The 21-year-old point guard had shot 41 percent or less from the field in three games in March entering play Friday, but against the Thunder he shot 53 percent from the field. Henderson might’ve benefited from additional usage with Deni Avdija (quad) and Dalano Banton (personal) out, but he’ll need more consistent minutes in general to be a legitimate fantasy asset.

Grant returned from a four-game absence due to right knee tendinitis. The 30-year-old power forward played just 24 minutes despite getting the start. Grant struggled from the field going 2-of-10 including missing all six of his 3-point attempts. Fantasy managers should assume that the Trail Blazers will continue to be cautious in working Grant back in over the coming games.

Sharpe has now played at least 33 minutes in six straight games and scored at least 18 points in all six of those games. The 21-year-old shooting guard is a consistent scorer when given the requisite minutes. While Jerami Grant returned from a knee injury, he only played 24 minutes Friday. Dalano Banton (personal) and Deni Avdija (quad) were both out. Given the number of rotation players that have been in and out of the lineup in Portland, Sharpe should be rostered in all formats going forward.

One day removed from participating in a 5-on-5 session, Clowney has been cleared to return from the sprained left ankle that sidelined him for over a month. Even if he’s immediately placed in the starting lineup (Cameron Johnson is out Saturday), the second-year forward is unlikely to take on a full workload in his first game back. However, Clowney has the potential to provide value once any restrictions are removed.

Johnson’s 26 points in Thursday’s loss to the Warriors was the most he’s scored in over two months. Now the 29-year-old small forward finds himself ruled out for Saturday’s game against the Hornets with left knee soreness. Fantasy managers that roster Johnson would prefer he help the team make the play-in tournament. An injury like this could portend a late-season shutdown.

This was an ideal game for Brooklyn. A competitive loss is what every tanking team craves. It was also an encouraging performance for Johnson, who had his highest-scoring game in over two months. Though Brooklyn isn’t that far out of the Play-In Tournament, it would be surprising if they truly made a push to make it. Johnson was in and out of the lineup over the final few weeks of last season, and managers should expect that to happen again this year. Luckily, it didn’t start until late March last season, so there should be more time before that is a risk.

Brooklyn jumped out to a 25-5 lead on Thursday, but it wasn’t enough for them to get the win over Golden State. Martin was a big part of their early success as he scored 13 of his 17 points in the first half. Martin hasn’t been much of a factor in fantasy basketball this season outside of a few big scoring nights. However, he has played a consistent role for the Nets lately, and he may see his minutes increase as the season winds down. Martin is a player to keep an eye on as “silly season” approaches.

Who anticipated this? Claxton, whose previous career-high for assists was six, dished out 10 dimes and nearly recorded a triple-double in Thursday’s loss. Claxton has been a strong category league player over the last few seasons because of his contributions in rebounds, blocks and field goal percentage, and managers shouldn’t expect Claxton to continue to be a reliable source of assists. Still, it was a fun boost on Thursday and encouraging for his overall value, especially if Jordi Fernandez does continue to use him as a playmaking option.

Clowney has been sidelined since January, but he is progressing closer to returning to the lineup. He was a consistent presence in the starting unit in January and could return to that role shortly after he returns to the rotation. Brooklyn will want to get him as many development minutes as possible, though they will also want to make sure he doesn’t re-injure his ankle after a lengthy absence. Sharpe has now scored 20 points or more in four of his last five outings, one of the reasons why he’s ranked just outside the top 50 in nine-cat formats over the past week. The third-year guard may have a “fantasy-friendly” game, but being able to play starters’ minutes raises his ceiling. With Deni Avdija aggravating a prior quad injury during Wednesday’s game and Jerami Grant also dealing with injuries, Sharpe should be rostered in more than 49 percent of Yahoo! leagues as he currently is.

Simons was highly efficient in Boston, shooting over 50 percent from the field and not committing a turnover. And for the first time this season, he’s scored 30 points or more in consecutive games. Since the All-Star break, Simons has provided sixth-round value in eight- and nine-cat formats, solid production for a player ranked just inside the top 100 for the season. Portland plays two more games during Week 18, starting with the Thunder on Friday.

On a night when Donovan Clingan (two points, seven rebounds, one assist and one block in 20 minutes) didn’t have much of an impact, Walker stepped up with a big night off the bench. The 22 points were a season-high for the Blazers forward, who shot 6-of-6 from beyond the arc. While an afterthought in most fantasy leagues, Walker has provided 14th-round value in nine-cat formats since the All-Star break, which aligns with Clingan’s value. He certainly isn’t a must-add, but deep-league managers should not overlook Walker while the Blazers remain without Deandre Ayton and Robert Williams III.

With Cam Thomas back in the lineup, Johnson’s shot attempts took a hit Tuesday night. The 10 attempts are the fewest he’s had in a game since February 10, but the good news for fantasy managers is that Johnson snapped out of his three-point funk. After shooting 0-of-10 from beyond the arc in Saturday’s loss to the Pistons, he made three of his six attempts in San Antonio. While Johnson has played in every game since missing six with a sprained ankle in early February, there’s always the possibility of the Nets pulling the plug to improve their draft lottery odds.

Like D’Angelo Russell, availability has been an issue for Thomas. He’s only appeared in two games since injuring his hamstring on January 2, limiting his fantasy upside. And with the Nets playing two back-to-backs during Week 19, Thomas may be looking at a three-game week at best. Keon Johnson (8/7/1/1 with one three-pointer) only played 18 minutes off the bench, but he may be worth holding onto in deep leagues as a safety net in case Thomas misses more time.

Tuesday’s game was the second for Russell since the All-Star break, and availability will be a concern for the rest of the season. And with the Nets only two games behind 10th-place Chicago in the loss column, a little more “effort” may be required from the front office to improve the team’s lottery odds. That would be bad news for managers looking to Russell for production during the fantasy playoffs. The Nets only play two more games during Week 18, but they have two back-to-back during a five-game Week 19.

In addition to shooting the ball well in Cleveland, the second-year wing racked up fantasy value with his steals. On the final day of his 10-day contract, Hayes returned to the city where his NBA career began. The former lottery pick struggled against the team that drafted him, shooting 1-of-6 from the field while providing modest production in the rebound and assist categories. The Nets will have a decision to make regarding Killian. The health of D’Angelo Russell will likely influence the Nets’ decision regarding Hayes. As has been the case since he cracked the Nets’ rotation, Johnson had another game in which he shot poorly but provided value in other areas. The 20 percent night from the field won’t help category league managers on the verge of losing that category, but Johnson did grab eight rebounds and hit two three-pointers. Rostered in 19 percent of Yahoo leagues, he has provided eighth-round value in eight-cat formats over the past two weeks. However, his value moving forward depends on how much Cam Thomas plays. Grant shot the ball poorly again on Wednesday, and he’s only made 27.5 percent of his attempts over the past two weeks. However, the rebound production has increased in recent games. During that same two-week stretch, the veteran forward averages 5.3 rebounds per game, nearly two more than his mark for the season (3.5).
