James is good to go after initially being questionable for Monday’s game. With fellow rookie Kon Knueppel (ankle) out, James may move into the Hornets’ starting lineup due to his defensive ability. Knueppel sprained his right ankle during Friday’s game against the Magic. According to Hornets head coach Charles Lee, the rookie wanted to participate in Sunday’s practice but was held out and will also sit on Monday. Mobley only played 20 minutes on Saturday, a byproduct of the Cavaliers getting run out of the gym. However, he did start the second half, replacing Dean Wade (6/3/1/1 with two three-pointers in 18 minutes). Whether that means Mobley will be back in the lineup to begin Week 11 in San Antonio remains to be seen, and there’s also the minutes restriction to consider. For the Cavaliers and those who have Mobley rostered, the sooner he can ditch that restriction, the better.

Cleveland’s starting backcourt struggled on Saturday, as Mitchell struggled with his shot and Darius Garland (12 points, one assist and two three-pointers) only recorded one assist. Mitchell was coming off a 34-point effort against the Knicks on Christmas Day, and the production throughout the season makes it easy to write off Saturday’s performance. He and the Cavaliers will look to bounce back when they visit the Spurs on Monday.

Tyson’s performance in Houston may have been the lone bright spot for the Cavaliers, who only made the final score somewhat respectable due to both teams’ reserves playing most of the fourth quarter. The second-year wing recorded his fourth double-double of the season, with the 15 rebounds being a career-high. With Sam Merrill (13/3/3/1 with three three-pointers) back, Tyson appears to be locked into a reserve role. However, his production has made it challenging for fantasy managers to move on from him. The Cavaliers begin a four-game Week 11 in San Antonio on Monday.

He managed to turn things around down the home stretch, reaching the 20-point plateau for the fourth time in five games since returning from a brief three-game absence back on December 18. The 24-year-old all-around threat is averaging 19.7 points, 5.4 assists, 8.5 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.3 blocks over 21 games this season, delivering seventh-round value for fantasy purposes. On the heels of an 18-rebound explosion earlier this week, Diabaté posted his second consecutive double-double, pulling down a game-high 13 boards. Since returning to the bench in favor of Sam Merrill, Tyson’s productivity has actually increased. Following an 18-point effort on Tuesday, he tallied another 16 on Thursday to go along with six rebounds and two three-pointers. Tyson’s fantasy ceiling has decreased somewhat with the move to the bench, but he’s still worth holding onto in deep leagues until Max Strus is healthy enough to play. Mitchell caught fire late in this one, drilling 7-of-8 shots in the second half — including three from deep — to pour in a 18 points after halftime. The 29-year-old scoring machine has topped 27 points in eight of nine contests since the outset of December. Merrill was a big reason why Cleveland was able to put this contest away, connecting on 6-of-10 from three-point range — including a pair in the final 34 seconds of the first half — as the Cavaliers drained 20-of-49 from distance.
