Tyson has been productive for most of the season, but the last few games prior to this one had been rough. However, he was able to get back on track in this one by scoring at least 20 points for the fifth straight game. He had scored a total of 21 points across his four previous games, but he has largely been a consistent producer this season. This could kickstart a strong stretch for him, but he remains a risky option since the Cavs are healthier than they’ve been for much of the season.

Though he didn’t contribute as much on the glass as he typically does, Mobley was able to pour in the points. This was his highest scoring performance since November. Still, his fantasy impact has been limited recently by a lack of rebounds. He has a total of 18 rebounds over his last four games, which is well below his season average of 8.6 boards per game. He had at least 10 rebounds in the two games prior to this stretch, and he’ll look to get back on track against the Jazz on Monday.

Merrill slid back into the starting lineup for this game, replacing Craig Porter Jr. with the opening group. He took advantage of the opportunity, with this being his fourth straight game with at least five three-pointers. He has been on fire lately, having shot at least 50 percent from the floor in each of those. Managers should ride the hot hand with Merrill and stream him in as long as he’s hitting shots.

It has been a rough season overall for Garland, but he has had some incredibly efficient performances lately. This was the second time in his last three games that he scored at least 20 points and six assists while shooting better than 60 percent from the floor and not turning the ball over. Garland hasn’t played to his sixth round ADP, but he is more than capable of producing to that level for the rest of the season.

The avalanche of injuries to key contributors in Denver has created an opportunity for Watson to put together a mini-breakout, scoring 20-plus points in six consecutive games since December 31. The 23-year-old forward recorded his second double-double of the season with Jamal Murray (ankle, illness) sitting out. He’s experienced a noticeable uptick in creation possessions and increased scoring duties over the last two weeks, averaging 21.6 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.9 blocks over eight games during that span.

The Nuggets won’t have Jamal Murray or Spencer Jones for Friday’s game, opening two spots in the starting lineup. Pickett and Tyson will fill the voids, with the latter’s inclusion an indication that Aaron Gordon remains under a strict minutes restriction. While fantasy managers don’t need to consider streaming Tyson, Pickett is worth the risk in deeper formats.

Mobley’s near-20-point effort on efficient shooting was the highlight of the night for the reigning Defensive Player of the Year. He added in a trio of threes for the seventh time this season, as well. Yet he was unspectacular on the glass and finished with just one stock. Merrill started and closed Thursday’s games in a similar way, scoring 11 points in both the first and fourth quarters, with three-point production being key. The sharp-shooting guard’s production in between those two periods was also similar, as he went scoreless in the middle two quarters. As a result, Merrill ended with 22 points and five threes. He didn’t make major contributions elsewhere in this game; however, he’s now scored 15 or more points and made at least four three-pointers in four consecutive games.

After a one-game absence, Mitchell returned to the floor on Thursday and added to his streak of 30-point games, which now sits at four. Efficient shooting helped lead him to a team-high in points, with most of his scoring production coming in a 19-point second half. Mitchell also tied a season-high in assists in his effort to give the Cavs a second straight win. A flurry from the T’Wolves in the third quarter ultimately swung the game in their favor, leaving Mitchell’s production wasted in a loss. Nikola Jokić’s left knee injury did not result in Nnaji moving into the starting lineup, but it has freed up additional opportunities for the former first-round pick. Over the past week, the 6-foot-9 forward/center has averaged 12.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals, 1.5 blocks and 1.5 three-pointers in 24.6 minutes per game. That production has been good for top-100 value in eight-cat formats.
