Harden’s night in San Francisco wasn’t as prolific as one would expect, but he was available when the Cavaliers needed him most. Down the stretch, the two-man game between and center Jarrett Allen (16 points, 13 rebounds and one steal) produced some key baskets to help Cleveland remain one game in the loss column behind New York for third place in the East. The Cavaliers are off until Sunday, when they host the lottery-bound Pacers. That could be a game where Harden gets his gaudy assist numbers.

Over his last four appearances, Strus has shot 20-of-36 from beyond the arc. He made six of his ten attempts on Thursday, surpassing 20 points for the second time in three games. With Sam Merrill (3/2/5/1 with one three-pointer) struggling and Dean Wade (ankle) still out, Strus has taken on added fantasy value. And there’s one more game in Week 23, with the Cavaliers hosting the Pacers on Sunday.

Mitchell led six Cavaliers in double figures as they managed to pull away from the Warriors late. And this was an excellent night to have the star guard rostered, as he finished with a complete stat line and excellent shooting percentages. Cleveland’s Week 23 schedule was front-loaded, with three games in the first four days. They’ll finish the week on Sunday against the Pacers in what should be a good matchup for Mitchell.

Jaquez’s double-double was his sixth of the season and first in just over two months. Rostered in 36 percent of Yahoo! leagues, the Heat wing is ranked outside the top-150 over the past two weeks. Jaquez’s value has not been terrible, but the lack of upside does mean that he isn’t a must-roster player in 12-team leagues.

One game removed from putting up 30 in a win over the 76ers, Herro struggled with his shot on Wednesday. He made just one of his five two-point attempts, which did a number on the overall field-goal percentage. Herro did provide good value in assists and three-pointers, but fantasy managers were likely hoping for a more efficient scoring night. He’ll look to bounce back on Saturday when the Heat host the Wizards.

After struggling with his perimeter shot in his first two-plus NBA seasons, Mitchell has made significant strides since joining the Heat last season. A 44.7 percent shooter from deep in his 30 regular-season games for Miami last season, “Off Night” has made over 39 percent of his attempts in 2025-26. Against the Celtics, Mitchell shot 5-of-10 from three and dished out seven assists without a turnover. The Heat play once more in Week 23, as they host the Wizards on Saturday.

Adebayo extended his double-double streak to five games on Wednesday, with the 29 points being the most in a game for him since March 21. Shooting 5-of-10 from beyond the arc, all that Bam’s line lacked was a blocked shot. While the Heat aren’t locked into the Play-In tournament yet, they risk being seeded ninth or tenth, which would require two wins to reach the playoffs as the 8-seed.

Strus was back in the lineup after sitting out the first leg of this back-to-back, and he ended up starting for the first time this season. He wasn’t able to match his season-high 29 points that he scored on Friday, but he remained efficient. Still, the lopsided score limited him to 23 minutes, so it ended up being a subpar night. If he remains a starter when Sam Merrill, Jaylon Tyson and Dean Wade are all healthy, Strus should be a reliable option for fantasy managers for the rest of the season.

Allen sat the first leg of this back-to-back, but he was able to lead the Cavaliers in scoring in his return to the lineup. All 18 of his points came before halftime, and he didn’t end up seeing the floor much after the break. This was an ugly loss for the Cavs that was somewhat redeemed on the scoreboard during the fourth quarter. On a night when Evan Mobley and Donovan Mitchell scored 34 points each, Harden had one of his most productive nights as a Cavalier in the assist category. He has reached double figures in that category five times since being traded to Cleveland, including each of the team’s last two games. Jaquez was one of the few Heat players to be productive in Friday’s defeat, two days after Miami routed the Cavaliers in Cleveland. Cleveland’s “others” handled a large chunk of the scoring on Friday, with Harden doing a masterful job of running the show. When Mobley and Jarrett Allen are on the floor, there have been questions in the past about how their respective upsides are impacted. Both were excellent on Friday, recording double-doubles in the blowout of the Heat. Having some help up front paid dividends for Mobley, who was limited to eight points and five rebounds in Wednesday’s loss to the Heat.
