Garland struggled with his shot on Sunday, but that did not prevent him from recording a complete stat line against the Jazz. Having scored 19 points or less in four straight and five of his last seven outings, the Cavaliers guard has been a fifth-round player in nine-cat formats over the past two weeks. Garland’s game isn’t solely about scoring, so his fantasy value remains high despite the recent downtick in points.

Cleveland won Sunday’s game by outscoring Utah 37-19 in the third quarter, but Mitchell was only needed for 21 minutes. That may be the most significant concern for fantasy managers still competing in their leagues. Cleveland has a comfortable lead in the Eastern Conference. While the team still has the opportunity to claim the NBA’s best record, it may prioritize getting its key players additional rest ahead of the postseason. The Cavaliers play four games during Week 21, but a midweek back-to-back could limit Mitchell to three appearances.

Allen and the Cavaliers started slowly on Sunday, but a 37-19 third quarter was enough to put the game in the bag. And this was a much-needed effort from Allen, who scored 24 points in the previous three games. While the recent downtick in scoring hasn’t helped, foul shooting has been the more impactful issue for Allen recently. Ranked outside the top 100 in eight- and nine-cat formats over the past two weeks, the Cavaliers post is an ice cold 58.3 percent from the foul line in that stretch. Sunday’s 2-of-5 effort won’t help, but fantasy managers will take Allen’s overall stat line.

Mobley’s excellent season continued Friday despite the Cavaliers hitting a bit of a speed bump having now lost four games in a row. The 23-year-old center was still able to have a double-double, though he was hardly efficient on offensive with 16 points on 14 shots. He was a factor on the defensive end with a steal and two blocks. The main concern for fantasy managers will be if the Cavaliers elect to rest Mobley at all during the fantasy playoffs.

Mitchell’s seven points were a season-low and just the second time he failed to reach double-digits. The other occasion was back on January 16 when he scored eight points against the Thunder. Stars are allowed to have off-nights, but it’s difficult to sugarcoat this one. Mitchell went 2-of-18 from the floor including 0-of-8 from behind the three-point line. He’ll look to bounce back Sunday against the Jazz.

Wagner only played 24 minutes on Friday due to the lopsided score. However, that was enough time for him to extend his streak of 20-point games to three, and he has also had eight rebounds in each of those. He also was able to clean up the turnovers; Wagner only turned it over once after having 18 turnovers across his three previous games. Washington was an easier matchup than Orlando’s last three games, but it was still a strong performance from Wagner. Unfortunately, this was the second game of a short two-game week for Orlando.

Black’s recent production has been inconsistent despite Cole Anthony being in and out of the lineup. He was out of it on Friday with the same toe injury that has plagued him, and Black had one of hist best performances of the past month. His 26 minutes were also the most that he has played in nearly a month, and he took on a larger role than Cory Joseph, who started at point guard. Black still isn’t a standard league option, but this was an encouraging performance for dynasty managers.

Banchero did most of his work early on, which allowed Orlando to take a double digit lead into halftime and extend it to 30 points entering the fourth quarter. Banchero didn’t see the floor in the final frame after scoring 20 points in the first half and adding 10 more in the third quarter. He has now scored at least 25 points in six of Orlando’s last seven games and provided top ten value in nine-cat leagues during that stretch. Unfortunately, that was the final game of a two-game week for the Magic.

Mitchell shot 5-of-10 from the field after halftime, nearly pulling the Cavaliers across the finish line in Sacramento. While his performance did not result in a Cleveland victory, fantasy managers certainly benefitted from having Mitchell in their lineups. Mobley dropped an excellent stat line on Wednesday, recording his third double-double with at least 30 points this season. He has scored 20 or more six times since the All-Star break, an expected output given the ability of Cleveland’s top four offensive options. The lone concern for fantasy managers as the playoffs approach their conclusion is Mobley’s availability, as the Cavaliers have given their stars an occasional night off to prepare for the postseason.

The Cavaliers played Wednesday’s game without Darius Garland, who sat out for rest reasons. Wade was tabbed to fill the void in the starting lineup, and he provided solid value in that role. However, he only played 23 minutes, with Ty Jerome coming off the bench to play 26. He recorded 14 points, one rebound, six assists and one steal and has been more valuable than Wade in fantasy basketball this season. With Garland likely back on Friday against the Suns, Wade’s fantasy value will take a significant hit.

“Just when I thought I was out...they pulled me back in.” Bitadze has been ineffective since late January, scoring in double figures four times in 23 appearances. While Wagner finished with solid numbers in the points, rebound and assist categories, the efficiency left something to be desired. In addition to shooting 8-of-19 from the field, he was responsible for a game-high six turnovers. Mobley was back on the court after a one-game absence. While he shot the ball well from the field, the overall stat line was a bit meager compared to what Mobley has done throughout the season. His return pushed De’Andre Hunter to the bench, but the lineup change did not negatively impact the versatile wing. In 20 minutes, Hunter tallied 17 points, one rebound and three three-pointers. With Evan Mobley, Allen’s running mate in the backcourt, sidelined with a foot injury, Allen was able to step up and deliver a strong double-double. This was Allen’s third 20-point double-double in Cleveland’s last seven games. The main limitation for him in fantasy basketball has been a bunch of lopsided scores. Cavs fans won’t be upset by that at all, but fantasy managers have had to deal with limited production at times. Though they didn’t get the win, that wasn’t the case on Sunday. Despite Cole Anthony (toe) returning to the lineup, Joseph was able to hold on to his spot as Orlando’s starting point guard.
