Garland (toe) and Tyson (concussion) are back from injury, with the latter filling in for the injured Jarrett Allen (finger). Allen’s absence also impacts Mobley, who will be the lone big man in the Cavaliers’ starting lineup. That should give him more room to operate offensively, raising his fantasy ceiling. Nae’Qwan Tomlin will come off the bench and does not need to be rostered in redraft leagues.

There’s been no word as to what changed, but Allen is now out less than an hour after it was reported that he would play. His absence opens up a spot in the starting lineup, which Darius Garland could fill since he’s available. If that were to happen, Nae’Qwan Tomlin would remain with the starters, shifting Evan Mobley to the center position.

After missing five games due to the league’s concussion protocol, Tyson is available to play on Friday. However, he’ll be restricted to 30 minutes in his first game back. Whether coming off the bench or filling a void within the starting lineup, the second-year wing has been productive. Tyson should be rostered in deep leagues, especially with Sam Merrill and Max Strus sidelined.

Garland is available after missing five games with a toe injury that initially became an issue in March and required surgery during the offseason. Murray-Boyles will miss a second straight game and has been diagnosed with a sprained right MCL. In other words, the rookie will likely be out for an extended period. Sandro Mamukelashvili played 15 minutes off the bench in Wednesday’s win over the 76ers, and that isn’t enough to make him a player worth streaming. Mobley and frontcourt sidekick Jarrett Allen (8/7/3/1) struggled on Wednesday, as Houston’s Alperen Şengün outplayed them in the 114-104 defeat. Entering the season with a Yahoo! ADP of 19, Mobley has only been an eight-round player in nine-cat formats. He’s been better in eight-cat, but this was not the start that many fantasy managers envisioned when they drafted Mobley. However, Friday’s game against the Pacers is an excellent opportunity for him (and Allen) to get going.

Hunter provided limited value outside of the points and three-pointers, but that has been the norm for him throughout his NBA career. Due to the limited production in assists, steals and blocked shots, he’s still ranked outside the top-100 in nine-cat formats. The good news for those who have Hunter rostered is that he appears to be a safe bet to start until Max Strus returns from offseason ankle surgery. Hunter’s rostered in 34 percent of Yahoo! leagues, a fair percentage given the lackluster production in multiple categories.

Mitchell had arguably his quietest third quarter of the season on Wednesday, as he did not attempt a shot from the field. However, the Cavaliers won that period by a 30-17 margin as others picked up the slack offensively. With Darius Garland (toe) out, Mitchell has assumed the starting point guard role, and the balance between scoring and setting up others has been challenging to navigate at times. Cavaliers head coach Kenny Atkinson said before Wednesday’s game that Garland is “really close” to a return, and that should benefit Mitchell.

The lower back issues he dealt with during the preseason appear to be a thing of the past, as the 7-footer has surpassed 30 minutes in consecutive games for the first time. Ingram may not have provided the most robust stat line, but the production he did offer was good. The Raptors forward shot 70 percent from the field and dished out five assists. However, the lack of rebounds or defensive stats while also committing four turnovers negated some of the positives for Ingram, who also dealt with some foul trouble.
