After missing Wednesday’s game against the Hawks due to an illness, Queta was back in the lineup for this game. He was inefficient as a scorer once again, which has been atypical for him this year. He has shot below 40 percent in three straight games, but his percentage over the course of the year is 63.3. However, he was able to make up for it with well-rounded production in other categories. Queta has enjoyed the best season of his career this year, and he should be considered a must-roster player.

Scheierman entered the starting unit with Jaylen Brown (hamstring, knee) sidelined for this game, which was also the case in Brown’s previous absence. It wasn’t an explosive performance, but Scheierman was able to contribute decent value in an increased role. If Brown remains out against the Bucks on Sunday, Scheierman should be in line to start once again. He was solid in this game and would hold upside as a streamer, but he isn’t worth rostering beyond that.

With Jaylen Brown (hamstring, knee) sidelined for this game, Pritchard took over as the focal point of the offense. He has typically had big nights when Brown is out of the lineup, and that was the case once again in this one. In four games without Brown, he has averaged 26.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 8.5 assists and 3.8 three-pointers per game. He has been fantastic all season, but this was one of his best performances. If Brown remains out against the Bucks on Sunday, Pritchard should be in for another monster outing.

Marshall sat out on Thursday, which was the second night of a back-to-back. He’ll be back against Houston, and his return should push Caleb Martin back to the bench with Cooper Flagg and P.J. Washington both healthy and available.

After sitting out Wednesday’s loss to the Hawks, Queta is good to go for Friday night. Amari Williams started against Atlanta but only played 15 minutes, with Luka Garza logging 24 minutes off the bench. Williams has been sent to the G League, so he will be inactive, which bodes well for Queta’s playing time.

Brown is dealing with multiple lower-body injuries and will not play on Friday. Baylor Scheierman was the replacement the last time that Brown missed a game, playing 20 minutes in a January 12 loss to the Pacers. Scheierman is not a must-stream player in most fantasy leagues.

Martin has been starting over the past two weeks for Dallas, and he has had some strong production lately. The shooting has been rough, but he has averaged 1.2 steals and 1.2 blocks per game during that stretch, and he set a new season high for rebounds in this one. His upside as a scorer has been limited, though he has had a few solid performances mixed in. Naji Marshall got a rest night in this game, but he should return to take on the Rockets on Saturday. Assuming everyone else remains available, Martin will likely head back to the bench, which will eliminate his run as a streaming option.

Flagg missed Wednesday’s game against the Hornets but was back to take on Charlotte. In a matchup with his former college teammates Kon Knueppel and Sion James, Flagg’s team didn’t come out on top, but he shined brightest. Only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who scored 51 points on 72 percent shooting in a game as a rookie, has ever matched or exceed Flagg’s points and field goal percentage in a game as a rookie. Of course, Kareem was less than two months from turning 23, while Flagg just turned 19. He has been incredible as a rookie and should be in line to win Rookie of the Year.

Flagg is back after missing Wednesday’s loss to the Timberwolves. His return coincides with Naji Marshall’s absence, so that’s the lone change to the Mavericks’ starting lineup.

Williams is good to go after logging 24 minutes in Wednesday’s loss to the Timberwolves. His availability likely means that Ryan Nembhard will miss out on the opportunity to play extended minutes off the bench.

Thompson is back after sitting out Wednesday’s loss to the Timberwolves. His absence factored into fellow reserve Jaden Hardy playing 24 minutes off the bench. With Brandon Williams (ankle) considered a game-time decision, it’s possible that Hardy’s playing time won’t decrease much, if at all.

Queta was held out of Wednesday’s loss to the Hawks, leading to Amari Williams getting another start. However, the rookie played only 15 minutes, while Luka Garza played 24 off the bench. Neither Williams nor Garza is worth rostering in redraft leagues when Queta is available.

In addition to a lingering hamstring issue, Brown is dealing with a right knee contusion. With the Celtics’ All-Star wing appearing unlikely to play on Friday, Baylor Scheierman could be moved into the starting lineup. However, with Derrick White and Payton Pritchard available, the second-year guard offers a limited streaming ceiling.

Williams played 24 minutes on Wednesday, scoring 17 points with five rebounds and three assists, but he may sit out the second leg of a back-to-back to rest his ankle. If that’s the case, we should expect more minutes for Ryan Nembhard, who could emerge as a streaming option.

Cooper Flagg (ankle) will return for the Mavericks, but Marshall is going to miss the second game back the back-to-back. P.J. Washington should move into the starting lineup in his place and could be in for a solid game.

This was the expectation when Flagg was ruled out on Wednesday, and he will now officially return for the second leg of a back-to-back. He should immediately be put back in all fantasy lineups.

Tatum ruptured his Achilles tendon during Game 4 of the Celtics’ second-round series against the Knicks last May. Given the reports out of Boston and some of the videos, it appeared that there was a good chance that Tatum would try to come back before the end of the regular season. However, that may not be the path he takes, with the star forward now re-evaluating his options. Given how well the Celtics have played this season, that may be one of the factors that Tatum is considering. Fantasy managers who have been stashing Tatum in an IL spot can hold onto him for now, but be ready to pivot.

Questionable for Sunday’s game against the Bucks, Williams got a little more time off to rest his sore right knee when that contest was postponed. The knee didn’t appear to give him any trouble on Wednesday, with the Mavericks’ guard recording a solid stat line in 24 minutes off the bench. There would be more to like about Williams fantasy-wise if he were starting, but his playing time has been consistent. We’ll see if he’s able to play on Thursday against the Hornets.

Marshall extended his streak of games with at least ten points to 12 on Wednesday, and he’s been a starter for the last 11. Since New Year’s Day, the Mavericks’ forward has provided top-100 per-game value, with Anthony Davis’ hand injury raising Marshall’s ceiling. He’s still rostered in 41 percent of Yahoo! leagues. While shallow-league managers can afford to wait, those competing in standard leagues where Marshall remains available should strongly consider picking him up.

Washington was moved into the starting lineup on Wednesday, as the Mavericks were without Cooper Flagg (ankle). He filled in admirably for the rookie, recording his first 20-point game since December 15. While Washington has not been a top-100 player this season, he isn’t far off, and the forward is capable of stepping up when the Mavericks are shorthanded. Dallas plays two more games in Week 15, and they’re likely to get Flagg back for Thursday’s game against the Hornets.

White recorded a complete stat line on Wednesday, but the numbers were modest by his standards. The Celtics guard is still offering third-round per-game value in eight- and nine-cat formats, according to Basketball Monster. White’s skill set makes him a fantasy favorite in category league formats, and that isn’t changing anytime soon.

Pritchard wasn’t the only Celtic to struggle with his shot on Wednesday. He missed all three of his three-point attempts, and Boston shot 9-of-34 as a team. Every so often, the Celtics have a night when their perimeter shots aren’t falling. Thursday was one of those nights. As for Pritchard, he’s been close to a top-100 player throughout the season, so there’s no need to be concerned about Thursday’s performance.

Brown has scored at least 20 points in 11 consecutive games as he continues to play at an All-NBA level. In eight-cat formats, he’s been close to a top-25 player. The two issues for Brown on Wednesday were three-point shooting, as he missed all five of his attempts, and his three turnovers. Regarding the latter category, he’s averaging 3.6 per game, an understandable average given how much of the offense runs through Brown.

The Mavericks won’t have Cooper Flagg for Thursday’s game, which is their first of two in as many nights. As a result, Washington returns to the starting lineup, while Gafford replaces Dwight Powell. Also, Marshall will have a higher fantasy ceiling because Dallas is light on healthy playmakers.

With Neemias Queta (illness) out, the Celtics will turn to Williams to fill the resulting void. While not a great fantasy option, the rookie has done well as a screener within the Celtics’ offense. The other four starters are unchanged.

Even with the extra day off due to Sunday’s game in Milwaukee being postponed, Flagg will not play on Wednesday due to left ankle injury management. The Mavericks also play on Thursday, so the rookie will unsurprisingly sit. Naji Marshall’s usage should increase, and he’s worth rostering even when Flagg is available.

Thompson, who only played 14 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the Lakers, will miss Wednesday’s game with a sore left knee. Since Sunday’s game against the Bucks was postponed, this will be the first game the veteran sharpshooter has missed with the injury. While Miles Kelly may play a few minutes off the bench, there’s no need to stream him.

Queta appeared in Monday’s win over Portland, but Amari Williams started. With Queta out of action and Luka Garza back after sitting out on Monday, Williams could see his role reduced in favor of Garza. The pair will pick up the slack for Queta, though neither Garza nor Williams are worth streaming outside of deep fantasy leagues.
