Williams has missed Dallas’s last two games, but he appears on track to return Saturday night. While Ryan Nembhard played 17 minutes off the bench in Thursday’s loss to the Spurs, he’s listed as doubtful for Saturday due to his two-way contract status. Add in Tyus Jones potentially making his Mavericks’ debut, and Nembhard is unlikely to be a factor in fantasy basketball if Williams sits.

Since scoring 24 points in a January 24 loss to the Lakers, Christie scored 13 points or less in four consecutive games. The Mavericks’ guard was better against the Spurs, but a 2-of-8 night from beyond the arc kept the points tally at 20. Even with the addition of Khris Middleton, those who have Christie rostered should not panic. With an eye toward the future, the Mavericks would be better served playing Max starters’ minutes than lightening his workload the rest of the season.

Marshall has not been a player that fantasy managers look to for three-point production, as he entered Thursday with ten games of at least two triples. That changed on Thursday, as the Mavericks’ wing hit four, matching his career-high. Add in the points, rebounds and assists, and this was a good night to have Marshall rostered. Of course, category league managers will want some defensive production out of Naji. Still, he’s one of the few reliable fantasy options on the Mavericks’ roster beyond Cooper Flagg at this point.

Flagg has been on a roll recently, scoring at least 32 points in four straight games. The Mavericks’ rookie shot over 50 percent from the field despite San Antonio’s defensive focus throughout, recording a complete stat line. After scoring nine points in Monday’s win over the Pelicans, Bridges doubled his output as Charlotte extended its win streak to eight games. While he hasn’t been the flashiest fantasy option, the Hornets’ forward has offered consistent value, ranking within the top-100 in nine-cat formats. Bridges’ value takes a hit in turnover-punt builds, but fantasy managers should not be concerned.

While Ball is shooting 39.7 percent from the field over the past two weeks, his overall production is one reason why the Hornets have won their last eight games. Since shooting 0-of-10 from three in a January 21 loss to the Cavaliers, LaMelo has made at least two triples in each game of the win streak. While turnovers and shot selection can still be an issue for Ball, he’s making strides to the delight of the Hornets and fantasy managers.

For the first time since 1999, the Hornets have won eight consecutive games. While former Duke teammate Cooper Flagg is the betting favorite to win Rookie of the Year, Knueppel has been the picture of consistency in Charlotte. And his production has impacted winning. The Hornets will look to extend their win streak to nine when they visit Atlanta on Saturday.

Bagley has been a solid backup center for Washington this season, which includes some productive outings as a starter. With Dallas, he could be productive down the stretch of this season. He isn’t a long-term solution at center, but he will be part of the rotation along with Daniel Gafford, Moussa Cisse and Dwight Powell. Ball took a hit to the face early in this game after both he and head coach Charles Lee went for a ball that was going out of bounds. Ball went to the locker room, but he was able to return and push Charlotte’s winning streak to seven games. Ball hasn’t been the only reason for Charlotte’s recent success, but he has only missed three games since November, which is a great development for him. Williams has played a solid role off the bench since making his season debut on Jan. 10, but he hasn’t contributed much in the box score. However, he was able to have his first double-digit scoring outing of the season in this game. Gafford’s double-double was his fourth of the season, but the playing time may be the most notable aspect of his night in Houston. The 28 minutes were the most in a game for the Mavericks’ center since November 24, exceeded only by Gafford playing 31 minutes in a November 16 win over the Trail Blazers. How Dallas decides to approach the rest of the season will be worth watching, as Saturday’s defeat dropped them five games behind the 10th-place Clippers in the loss column. If they try to compete for a play-in spot, Gafford should be fine minutes-wise. If not, expect to see more of Moussa Cissé (three points, one rebound, one assist and one block in 13 minutes).

One game removed from scoring a career-high 49 points in a loss to the Hornets, Flagg put forth another stellar performance on Saturday. While Ball didn’t have the best day shooting the basketball, including a 3-of-9 afternoon from inside the arc, his work as a playmaker helped the Hornets extend their win streak to six games. During the run, the Hornets’ point guard’s assist-to-turnover ratio has been excellent, with Ball recording 47 assists and 17 turnovers.
