Williams was downgraded to questionable earlier in the day and has now officially been ruled out. The returns of Cooper Flagg and Naji Marshall could’ve bumped Williams to the bench regardless, but if they opt for a traditional point guard in the starting unit, Ryan Nembhard would be next in line, and he should see extra minutes regardless.

Clifford struggled from beyond the arc on Tuesday, missing all five of his attempts. The good news is that the rookie guard shot over 50 percent from two-point range, and he also provided solid production in rebounds, assists, and steals. Clifford played 39 minutes, an encouraging number, even if it may not be sustainable for the rest of the season. The key is that he’s getting a lot of playing time, which makes Clifford a more attractive option during the silly season.

After logging 22 minutes in Sunday’s loss to the Lakers in his return from a thigh injury, Westbrook played 31 minutes against the Suns. The veteran point guard shot 3-of-6 from beyond the arc on Tuesday, and fantasy managers in category leagues can also use the assists and steals. However, it’s fair to question whether Westbrook will be asked to play 30-plus minutes consistently between now and the end of the season, especially with Devin Carter needing more playing time for evaluation. Carter only played nine minutes on Tuesday, finishing with two points, two rebounds and one steal. With the Kings headed for the draft lottery, Carter should be the priority, but that wasn’t the case against the Suns.

Raynaud finished Tuesday’s defeat with his 13th double-double of the season, which leads all rookies. The 7-foot-1 center may not offer much value as a shot-blocker, but fantasy managers know what they’re going to get from him as a scorer and rebounder on most nights. For good measure, Raynaud dished out four assists against the Suns. Among Kings players, only Precious Achiuwa has been more valuable to fantasy managers since the All-Star break.

Achiuwa has been a popular add in fantasy leagues recently, and with good reason. The 6-foot-8 forward has recorded at least nine rebounds in five straight games and at least one steal and one blocked shot in four of the last five. Rostered in 28 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Achiuwa has been a top-50 player since the All-Star break, according to Basketball Monster. With the Kings headed for the draft lottery, playing time should not be an issue for Achiuwa the rest of this season. If he’s sitting on the waiver wire, pick him up.

Raynaud recorded his fourth double-double since the All-Star break and 12th of the season, but this was not the best night overall for the rookie. The points, rebounds and field-goal percentage categories were good, but he was also responsible for six turnovers. Add in the lack of defensive stats, and Sunday wasn’t the best night to rely on Raynaud in nine-cat formats. That said, his current role with Domantas Sabonis (knee) done for the season makes Raynaud worth the risk in some 12-team leagues.

After going on a streak of five consecutive games with a steal, Christie did not record any in the four games he played before Sunday. The Mavericks’ guard picked up two against the Thunder, and his ability to consistently provide value in that category will be critical for his fantasy outlook moving forward. While a capable shooter, Christie is not a prolific scorer, so category league managers certainly need a bit more from him in the “other” categories. Williams made a second consecutive start on Sunday, but his playing time took a slight hit. After logging 26 minutes in Friday’s loss to the Grizzlies, he played 24 against the Thunder, and Ryan Nembhard’s availability was a factor. Nembhard logged 24 minutes in his return to the rotation on Sunday, finishing with seven points, two rebounds, five assists, one steal and one three-pointer. Back in action after missing Friday’s loss to the Grizzlies, Martin was inserted into the starting lineup due to Naji Marshall (finger) being out. He took advantage of the opportunity, leading the Mavericks in scoring while shooting 3-of-5 from beyond the arc. Unfortunately, Martin shot 50 percent from the foul line and did not offer much production outside of points and three-pointers. DeRozan, who led the Kings with seven assists, played 24 minutes on Wednesday. Given where the Kings’ season is, with the team now a league-worst 13-47, the younger players should be the team’s priority for the rest of the season. While Westbrook led the Kings in scoring on Wednesday, he put up those 22 points in 25 minutes. With the game being a blowout, the veteran point guard was not on the floor as long as he usually would. However, Kings fans and fantasy managers would likely argue that Westbrook should play around 25 minutes in more competitive games to free up time for the Kings’ younger guards. While Hunter practiced on Wednesday, he has not appeared in a game since a February 6 loss to the Clippers. The wing, acquired from the Cavaliers at the trade deadline, was inadvertently struck in the left eye by Clippers wing Kobe Sanders, resulting in left eye iritis.
