If the Jazz were hoping to drum up trade interest for Nurkić ahead of the February 5 deadline, the last two games won’t hurt. On Thursday, the 7-footer became the first player to record triple-doubles in consecutive games in the franchise’s history in Utah. Counting the New Orleans years, Nurkić and the late, great Pete Maravich are the only Jazz players to record a triple-double in consecutive games. The concern at this point is the injury management nights, as Nurk has been a top-10 player in eight-cat formats over the past two weeks.

One game removed from recording his fourth 20-point game of the season, Bailey enjoyed the most productive night of his rookie campaign on Thursday. The 25 points are a new high for the lottery pick, who was also productive on the glass. Of course, category league managers would like to see some defensive production from Bailey, but he’s taking steps in the right direction.

George has scored at least 23 points in four straight and six of his last seven games, an impressive run for one of the NBA’s most improved players. Over the past two weeks, he has offered top-15 per-game value in eight-cat formats. While the Jazz are just 2-5 in their last seven games, the franchise is clearly prioritizing player development and its draft lottery odds. Hopefully, George will be safe from a late-season shutdown, but there’s no guarantee he will be, given how well he’s played this season.

Active after missing the previous three games, Washington was used in a reserve role on Thursday. The forward played 22 minutes, eight shy of the limit set by the team. Washington didn’t have a prolific scoring night, but he filled up the stat sheet, which was excellent for those who have him rostered in category leagues. Caleb Martin remained in the starting lineup but only played 19 minutes, going scoreless with two rebounds, one assist and two blocked shots. Those who streamed Martin when Washington was unavailable can move on.

Before Thursday’s game, Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd said that Flagg could be limited to 20-25 minutes. Key word: could. The rookie played 30 minutes and showed no signs of being hampered by the sprained left ankle he suffered last week. For the first time this season, Christie has scored at least 20 points in three consecutive games. And he’s flipped a switch since the holidays, with five of his six 20-point games occurring after Christmas. With Anthony Davis (hand) out for the foreseeable future, there will continue to be room for Christie to have a greater impact offensively. A top-100 player over the past two weeks, he’s rostered in 21 percent of Yahoo! leagues, and that number is too low.

A double-digit scorer in each of his last ten games, Marshall has scored 22 or more in four of his previous six. Thursday’s performance was one of the best of the Mavericks’ forward’s career, as he matched his season-high point total and finished one assist shy of a double-double. Over the past two weeks, Marshall has provided third-round per-game value in eight-cat formats. Rostered in 36 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Marshall should be added in more 12-team leagues.

Cissé had been listed as questionable, so this is a step in the right direction for him. Meanwhile, Daniel Gafford (ankle) has been downgraded to doubtful, so Cissé should get a nice run of minutes. Making his first appearance at Madison Square Garden as an NBA player, Flagg had a solid evening at the office as the Mavs blew out the Knicks. Two significant issues became apparent for the Knicks early in Monday’s game: they couldn’t run Max Christie off the line, and they couldn’t keep Marshall out of the paint.
