Mathurin is back and will make his first appearance since October 25, as he returns from a foot injury. As a result, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl will head back to the bench. The other change is Jackson, who replaces Tony Bradley in the starting five. Mathurin’s minutes will likely be limited, but he’s worth rostering given the Pacers’ lack of consistent scorers.

Mathurin is set to make his return from a toe injury against the Pistons on Monday. The 23-year-old shooting guard participated in a simulated game over the weekend. His return is huge for the Pacers, who’ve been dealt a brutal hand of injuries to start the season. It’s unclear if Mathurin will be on a minutes limit in his first game back.

Kuminga will miss a fourth consecutive game with bilateral patellar tendinitis. Moses Moody has been his replacement in the starting lineup and should retain that role until Kuminga returns. The offensive production has been a bit inconsistent, but Moody did go off for 32 points in Sunday’s win over the Pelicans. He’s worth the streaming risk in deep leagues.

Podziemski has reached double figures in three of the four games he’s played since returning to a reserve role in a November 11 loss to the Thunder. Sunday’s performance was his best, and the third-year guard has provided seventh-round value in nine-cat formats over the past week. Jonathan Kuminga’s absence has opened up additional opportunities for Podziemski, and he’s taken advantage. While he doesn’t need to start to provide solid fantasy value, Podz’s ceiling is lower when coming off the bench and the Warriors are whole.

Green didn’t have the most efficient night, shooting poorly from the field and committing five turnovers. While he provided decent value in the rebound and assist categories, his inefficiency has significantly damaged the Warriors forward’s fantasy value. Through 14 games, Green is shooting 37.3 percent from the field and 58.5 percent from the foul line and averaging 3.2 turnovers per game. Add in the limited offensive output, and he may not be worth the risk in 12-team leagues, especially with the Warriors entering a three-game week.

Golden State scored 44 points in the first quarter and maintained control for most of the night, handling the struggling Pelicans with relative ease. Butler was one of two starters to play more than 30 minutes on Sunday, and all that his final stat line lacked was a blocked shot. The six turnovers were a negative, but Butler has been excellent more often than not thus far. As long as he’s available, fantasy managers should continue to receive value that exceeds Butler’s Yahoo! ADP of 50. The Warriors play three games during Week 5.

On a night when Stephen Curry (9/5/3/0/1 with one three-pointer) shot 2-of-11 from the field, Moody came through with a huge night. And he didn’t take long to get going, hitting seven three-pointers in the first quarter. He’s the third player in franchise history to hit at least seven threes in a quarter, joining Curry and Klay Thompson. Moody, who has started the last three games in place of the injured Jonathan Kuminga, finished with a career-high point total and solid value in the defensive categories. Moody’s fantasy value in the short term depends on Kuminga’s availability, and the Warriors open Week 5 with a Tuesday/Wednesday road back-to-back against the Magic and Heat.

Siakam was one of the few bright spots for Indiana in this one as they fell to 1-12 overall to open the season. It’s officially the worst start to a season in franchise history. Not only are they without franchise cornerstone Tyrese Haliburton (Achilles), but they’re also without Aaron Nesmith (knee), Obi Topin (foot) and Bennedict Mathurin (toe) right now. The 31-year-old forward has picked up the slack from a scoring perspective recently, averaging 25 points over his last three games. The injury-ravaged Pacers will attempt to turn things around next week when they face the Pistons, Hornets and Cavaliers.

Nembhard got off to a sizzling-hot start with Aaron Nemsmith (knee) out of the lineup, pouring in 11 points in the opening stanza on 4-of-5 shooting, including a trio of three pointers. He cooled off in the second quarter, finishing with just two points and was limited to just nine more during the entire second half. He and teammate Pascal Siakam were the lone Pacers in double figures as they struggled to put up points due to an avalanche of injuries to key contributors. It’s a tough development for Indiana, but the lack of additional scoring threats should lead to more opportunities for Nembhard in the coming weeks.

Two days after Curry dropped 46 points in a win in San Antonio, he provided an encore. He set new season-highs for both points and three-pointers in what was his best game of the season. Since being held to 11 points in a blowout loss to the Thunder, Curry has responded with 95 points and 14 triples across two games. Poor San Antonio. Up next on this road trip is a stop in New Orleans on Sunday to wrap up this week. The Pelicans have a bottom-three defensive rating this season, making this a great opportunity for Steph to stay scorching hot.

Butler was able to supplement Stephen Curry’s 49 points with enough offense for the Warriors to escape with a win. Butler scored at least 20 points for a second straight game, but he wasn’t able to replicate his five three-pointers from Wednesday’s game against the Spurs. They’ll leave San Antonio with back-to-back wins, and Butler was solid in both.

Butler played a major role in Golden State’s comeback win over San Antonio. He used accurate shooting, high three-point production, and good volume at the free-throw line to nearly reach the 30-point mark. Given the amount of time McConnell missed with a strained right hamstring, it’s unsurprising that he was on a minutes restriction Tuesday night. However, he only played 11 minutes and did not see any action after halftime. Those who stashed McConnell in an IL+ slot should remain patient, as his production in the 11 minutes he did play was promising. Nembhard has surpassed 20 points in two of the three games he’s played since returning from a shoulder injury, with Tuesday’s total being a season-high. Siakam’s return from a one-game absence did not keep the Pacers from giving up 152 points on Tuesday, but he did provide fantasy managers with another solid stat line. Thus far, Spicy P is ranked outside the top-100 in eight- and nine-cat formats, providing greater value in the former. His usage has jumped by more than six percentage points from last season, but the Pacers’ lack of proven scorers has negatively impacted Siakam’s value. On a better version of this team, he would be an enticing “buy low” option. However, with Indiana now 1-10, managers who have Siakam rostered may be concerned about a potential late-season tank.

Nembhard finished Sunday’s defeat with a solid assist tally, but the field-goal percentage took a beating in Indiana’s final game of the week. However, the fact that he played 30 minutes or more in both games of the Pacers’ weekend back-to-back is far more critical, given the time he missed with a shoulder injury.
