Yikes. Curry returned to Golden State’s lineup following a three-game absence due to illness and had an extremely rare off night shooting the basketball. The 37-year-old generational talent got off to a terrible start, knocking down just 3-of-10 from the floor in the first half, including just 1-of-5 from three-point range. He was relegated to the bench for the entire fourth quarter of the blowout and played just six minutes in the entire second half as the Warriors fell to 1-6 on the road this season. They’ll attempt to get back on track when they square off against the Spurs on Wednesday evening on the second night of a back-to-back.

Green is available for Tuesday’s game against the Thunder, but he has been banged up recently. With that in mind, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said his forward/center could sit out Wednesday’s game against the Spurs, as Al Horford will be available. Horford is not playing on Tuesday; this approach should ensure that at least one of the two veteran bigs will be available for each game.

After a successful Suns debut in Thursday’s win over the Clippers, Green aggravated his strained right hamstring in the rematch two nights later. His absence opens up a spot in the starting lineup for Royce O’Neale, a solid deep-league option for managers needing three-pointers and steals. Tuesday’s injury update also makes Grayson Allen a more valuable fantasy option, even if he was already a starter. Allen scored a career-high 42 points and made a franchise-record 10 three-pointers in Monday’s win over New Orleans.

With Jalen Green (hamstring) back on the sideline, O’Neale made his seventh start of the season on Monday. The veteran wing had a good night, shooting 4-of-8 from beyond the arc and joining three other Suns starters in double figures. Due to the ability to provide three-pointers and steals, O’Neale is worth streaming until Green returns. And it may be a while before that happens, with Green set to undergo more testing this week.

Fantasy managers may have looked at Monday’s matchup and hoped for a massive night from Booker, but the Suns didn’t have to ask too much of their star. The 27 minutes are the fewest Booker has played in a game this season. He shot over 50 percent from the field, but the overall stat line was meager compared to what Booker usually provides. Wednesday’s game against the Mavericks may prove to be a bigger challenge for the Suns, possibly leading to more production from Booker.

Much to the chagrin of the Pelicans, Allen put on a shooting clinic in Monday’s 121-98 victory. He shot 10-of-15 from beyond the arc, breaking the Suns franchise record for three-pointers in a game. Also, the 42 points were a career-high for Allen, who had just one 20-point game to his credit this season before Monday’s explosion. With Jalen Green (hamstring) out, Allen’s importance to the Suns has increased. And despite providing third-round value in nine-cat formats, he’s rostered in just 38 percent of Yahoo! leagues.

The Suns are without Jalen Green, who aggravated his right hamstring injury during Saturday’s win over the Clippers. Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said after Sunday’s win over the Pacers that he expected Curry to play on Tuesday, and the superstar guard has been removed from the injury report. How much he’ll play remains to be seen, but his return is great news for the Warriors and for fantasy managers who have him rostered. Curry has missed the Warriors’ last three games due to illness, but he was on the bench Sunday night and appeared to be in good spirits. Following the 114-83 victory, Kerr gave Warriors fans and fantasy managers some more good news, revealing that he expects Curry to be available on Tuesday. That matchup is the first of two games in as many nights for the Warriors, who visit the Spurs on Wednesday. Richard has reached double figures in three straight games, which have coincided with Stephen Curry’s absence due to illness. The opportunities haven’t been consistent enough for the rookie to remain rostered in fantasy leagues, but he’s becoming a player who’s at least worthy of a look on nights when the Warriors aren’t at full strength. After missing Friday’s loss to the Nuggets with a foot injury, Horford played 18 minutes off the bench on Sunday. One positive about the veteran center/forward is that he doesn’t need to be on the floor long to provide value, as evidenced by his 4-of-6 night from beyond the arc. However, the combination of limited minutes and Horford not being available for both games of back-to-backs makes him a challenging player to roster in most leagues. And with Golden State opening Week 4 with a back-to-back, he’ll be available for three games at most.

Butler has only missed one of Golden State’s first 10 games thus far, and he’s providing fourth-round value in nine-cat formats. This was only the third time this season that Booker didn’t score at least 30 points. However, the Suns were still able to secure a win.
