Indiana has dealt with a ton of injuries in the backcourt this season, which led to them signing McClung in the first place. However, they’ll pivot to a veteran guard who they nearly signed in September. Morris will likely have a role, but he isn’t a player that will contribute consistently for fantasy managers.

Due to their many injuries, the Pacers signed Robinson-Earl to a 10-day contract over the weekend. Wednesday’s game was the first in which he truly stood out, grabbing 15 rebounds. There’s no need to consider adding Robinson-Earl based on one performance, but he’s looking to earn himself an opportunity, whether it’s with the Pacers or another team.

Due to the Pacers’ lack of healthy point guards, Siakam has been asked to take on more playmaking responsibilities this season. Of the eight games he’s played, Spicy P has recorded at least six assists in four, including a season-high nine on Wednesday. The negative was that he committed seven turnovers against the Nets, more than doubling his previous high (three). High-turnover nights of this caliber have been few and far between for Siakam, so there isn’t much to worry about. The only concern is that there may come a point later in the season when the Pacers’ draft lottery odds become a priority, but we aren’t there yet.

Sheppard, who started three games earlier this season, was back in the lineup on Wednesday due to Quenton Jackson (hamstring) being out. The third-year guard had his best game of the season, recording a complete stat line that included 18 points and three three-pointers. Rostered in three percent of Yahoo! leagues, Sheppard still isn’t in a place where he has to be on deep-league rosters. But the circumstances make him a player to watch, especially with the Pacers hitting the road for a four-game trip.

Quenton Jackson (hamstring) is out indefinitely after injuring his hamstring during Monday’s loss to the Bucks. Sheppard will make his fourth start of the season, and while he hasn’t been the most productive option, there won’t be a shortage of opportunities due to the Pacers’ many injuries. Look for Siakam to have the ball in his hands quite often as a facilitator for others, while also getting his own looks.

After hosting the Nets on Wednesday, the Pacers will hit the road for four games, starting Saturday in Denver. Furphy, who injured his left ankle during Monday’s loss to the Bucks, will not play, and there’s a chance he misses time beyond the road trip. Indiana has been decimated by injuries this season, and Martin will help provide some depth, though it may just be temporary. Risacher got off to a sizzling-hot start with 11 points in the opening four minutes of this one, finishing the first half with a game-high 16 points. He knocked down six of 10 from the floor during that span, including a pair of three pointers to propel the Hawks to a 17-point halftime lead. The 20-year-old former lottery pick will continue shouldering a larger role for Atlanta with offensive catalyst Trae Young facing a four-week absence with an MCL sprain in his right knee. He hasn’t been consistent enough to merit a roster spot in shallow fantasy leagues, but he’s shown some flashes of big-time scoring upside. His time is coming.

Daniels delivered a stat sheet-stuffing performance, serving as one of Atlanta’s primary playmakers in an impressive win over Orlando, dishing out six assists and shooting an extremely efficient 89 percent from the floor. Add another guard to the Pacers’ lengthy injury report. Jackson strained his right hamstring during Monday’s loss to the Bucks, and fantasy managers should plan for a multi-game absence. Walker has been in the starting lineup for the shorthanded Pacers, but he has struggled to get shots to fall. However, he had one of his best offensive performances of the season in this one. Like Jalen Johnson, Daniels’ fantasy value has improved since the Hawks lost Trae Young to a sprained right MCL. In the two games the Hawks’ point guard has missed, Daniels has totaled 36 points, 13 rebounds, nine assists, seven steals and one blocked shot while shooting 16-of-25 from the field. Porziņģis had a relatively quiet night scoring-wise, but he grabbed double-digit rebounds for the first time this season. And with Trae Young (knee) out, KP will likely have to do more as a rebounder and defender to keep his fantasy value up. In the two games Young has missed, Porziņģis has scored 15 points in both, three less than his season average (18.2). Siakam’s ranked outside the top-100 in eight- and nine-cat formats, with low percentages being the culprit. Given his career production, one would assume that Spicy P will close in on his Yahoo! ADP (30) as the season progresses. He’s being asked to shoulder a heavy workload, but that will change somewhat once the Pacers get some of their injured rotation players back on the floor. Not only did Nesmith notch a career-high point total, but this was also his third 30-point game. Shooting 34.6 percent from the field and 66.7 percent from the foul line, he’s ranked outside the top-200 in nine-cat formats. However, due to Indiana’s lack of available options, Nesmith needs to be rostered in deep leagues, even if that comes with the risk of him recording low percentages.
