Reaves is managing a mild strain of his right groin and has missed the last three games. His status impacts Jake LaRavia the most, as he’ll remain in the starting lineup until Reaves is available to play. Fantasy managers who are streaming LaRavia should hold onto him until it’s clear that Reaves can play.

Jović nearly recorded a triple-double off the bench against a Portland team that entered the night ranked ninth in defensive rating. He connected on three of seven attempts from beyond the arc and shot 63 percent from the field overall. The 22-year-old hasn’t exactly been a consistent fantasy contributor this season, but performances like this offer glimpses of his all-around upside as he continues to develop. An increase in three-point volume would go a long way toward unlocking his long-term scoring ceiling.

Jaquez, who entered the night questionable with an ankle injury, served as Miami’s offensive catalyst, dishing out seven assists and delivering several clutch buckets — including a go-ahead layup with just over two minutes left. The 24-year-old guard has done a little bit of everything for the Heat while Tyler Herro remains sidelined following offseason ankle surgery, averaging 17 points, seven rebounds, and five assists in 30 minutes per game — all career highs.

Vanderbilt hasn’t been much of a producer in the box score this season, but he was able to have a productive night off the bench in this game. He had his first double-double of the season and set a new season-high for rebounds. It was an excellent performance for him, but this isn’t going to happen often. He averaged 8.5 points, 10 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.0 steals in his two starts in October, and the only time he’ll be worth considering as a streamer is when he’s starting.

In what was a bad loss for the Lakers, LaRavia, who remained a starter in place of Austin Reaves (groin), was able to have a solid night. LaRavia has been productive as a starter this season, and he’ll continue to play a large role for Los Angeles for the rest of the year. Prior to the game, head coach JJ Redick said that Reaves is expected to be back on this five-game road trip, with this game in Atlanta kicking that off. If Reaves remains out in Charlotte on Monday, LaRavia should get another start, but his time in that role is likely running out.

While Dončić was still the leading scorer for the Lakers, he wasn’t able to provide his usual dose of buckets. He set a new season-low for scoring in the ugly loss. Jaquez has gotten off to an excellent start this season, providing seventh-round value in nine-cat formats. Unfortunately, fantasy managers will have to account for the possibility that he doesn’t play in Saturday’s game against Portland after spraining his left ankle with just over a minute remaining in Friday’s victory. If Jaquez sits, that would free up additional minutes for fellow reserve Nikola Jović, who finished with 10 points, four rebounds, three assists, three steals and one blocked shot in 19 minutes.

Friday’s game was the first for Miami since losing Bam Adebayo to a foot injury during Wednesday’s loss to the Nuggets. After coming off the bench in the two previous games, Ware moved into the starting lineup on Friday, and he struggled offensively. The second-year center shot 2-of-7 inside the restricted area, which was a disappointing output. Depending on how long the Heat will be without Adebayo, they’ll need Ware to be consistently productive.

Larsson has started Miami’s last six games, providing inconsistent value on the offensive end of the floor. He’s reached double figures three times, with Friday’s point total being a career-high for the second-year wing. Rostered in one percent of Yahoo! leagues, Larsson has been an 11th-round player in nine-cat formats since moving into the starting five. If Norman Powell or Jaime Jaquez Jr. cannot play in Saturday’s game against Portland after suffering sprained ankles during Friday’s victory, Larsson will be worth the risk in deeper leagues.

For the first time this season, Wiggins has scored 20 points or more in consecutive games. A top-50 player over the last week, the Heat forward has been a seventh-round player in nine-cat formats this season. His short-term value will be impacted by the availability of Norman Powell and Jaime Jaquez Jr., who both suffered sprained ankles during Friday’s victory. The 40-year-old and not appeared in a game so far this season as he battles sciatica. Progressing to contact drills is certainly a good sign, and the team says he’ll be reevaluated in approximately 1-2 weeks. Back in the Lakers’ starting lineup after sitting out Monday’s win over Portland, Dončić finished one rebound shy of a triple-double. And he made some history, becoming the first Laker to accumulate at least 35 points, 10 assists and five steals in a single game (steals did not become an official stat until 1973-74). After an inefficient 15-point effort against the Lakers on Sunday, Wiggins rebounded with a solid offensive showing against the Clippers. He shot over 50 percent from the field and recorded a complete stat line in the 120-119 victory. However, the production was limited outside of points and three-pointers. The good news for fantasy managers is that Wiggins’ output has been respectable outside of free-throw percentage, as he’s making just 57.9 percent of his attempts. And after shooting 36.2 percent from the field in his first three games, the Heat center has been a more efficient scorer. Adebayo has scored 25 points or more in three of his last four and has provided top-15 value in nine-cat formats during this stretch.
