Rostered in three percent of Yahoo! leagues, Fontecchio has been a consistently productive member of the Heat bench. He’s hit double figures in all five games, which includes a season-best 18-point night against the Spurs on Thursday. Averaging 3.2 three-pointers per game, Fontecchio is ranked just inside the top-75 in nine-cat formats. Nikola Jović was available despite a hip injury but only played 10 minutes. While he isn’t a must-add player in standard leagues, Fontecchio has outplayed Jović, who is still rostered in 25 percent of Yahoo! leagues.

Through the season’s first four games, Wiggins could not fully take advantage of Tyler Herro’s absence from the Heat lineup. While he was shooting 50 percent from the field, that was on a career-low 11 attempts per game. On Thursday, Wiggins took a season-high 18 shots and made over half his attempts. Of course, Miami has also been without Norman Powell for the last two games, and Wiggins has totaled 33 shot attempts. His opportunities will likely decrease once Powell and Herro return, but the Heat need Wiggins to be consistently aggressive until that time comes.

Adebayo finished Thursday’s defeat with his best line of the season, recording his first 30-point double-double. As is the case with many bigs who can shoot, he spent a lot of time on the perimeter due to the presence of Victor Wembanyama. Adebayo’s 13 three-point attempts were a career-high, but he’s attempted at least five in all five of Miami’s games thus far. He’s still ranked outside the top-50 in nine-cat formats, but that will change with more performances like the one Bam produced on Thursday.

Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said he wants to have Herro on the road because he thinks the return to play is made easier the more time he spends with the team. The guard had surgery on his left ankle on September 19 but is optimistic that he can return to the court before the end of November. Norman Powell (groin) will continue to start in place of Herro, but with Powell missing time recently, Pelle Larsson has been filling the void. Larsson had 17 points in the Heat’s last game.

Powell was listed as doubtful, so this is hardly a surprise. Pelle Larsson should start in his place again, but Jaime Jaquez Jr. will be the biggest beneficiary from a fantasy perspective. He played 28 minutes off the bench in the Heat’s first game without Powell and led the team with 28 points.

Jovic was initially listed as questionable, but was upgraded on Thursday, which is a good sign for his chances to get on the court. Jackson has been consistent on offense, scoring between 16 and 19 points in each of the Grizzlies’ five games. However, that has not been the case on the boards. After totaling five rebounds in games against the Heat and Pacers, he’s grabbed 13 over the last two games. The Grizzlies need a bit more from Jackson in that category as they await the returns of Zach Edey and Brandon Clarke. And a consistently productive Jackson on the boards would also benefit fantasy managers.

While Morant did commit six turnovers, he shot over 50 percent from the field and made the game’s biggest shot. With 7.3 seconds remaining, his floater gave the Grizzlies a 114-113 lead that would stand as the final score after a Devin Booker miss. Morant’s 28 points are the most he’s scored in a game since the opener, when he dropped 35 on the Pelicans. The lingering concern for Morant is that he’s likely due for an extended absence at some point. However, he’s had no issues thus far after missing the preseason with an ankle injury.

Adebayo finished Tuesday’s victory with a season-high point total, and he’s scored 19 points or more in three straight games. While there were no defensive stats in his most recent stat line, Charlotte’s porous defense allowed Bam to compensate for that on the offensive end. And the lack of defensive stats has weighed down his fantasy value through the season’s first week. Counting Tuesday, Adebayo has totaled two steals and no blocked shots. However, fantasy managers should not be too concerned given his track record.

With Norman Powell (groin) sidelined, Larsson was tabbed to make his first start of the season. He rewarded Erik Spoelstra’s faith with a solid effort against the Hornets, reaching double figures for the first time this season and finishing a blocked shot shy of a complete stat line. In fact, Larsson nearly doubled his point total after scoring nine points in Miami’s first three games. However, even if Powell misses more time, Larsson isn’t the best streaming option on a roster with Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Nikola Jović (10/6/2 with two three-pointers).

While Wiggins is shooting 50 percent from the field thus far, his fantasy value has languished due to a low free-throw percentage and limited production outside of points and rebounds. Those weren’t issues on Tuesday, as he recorded his first 20-point game of the season along with four defensive contributions. Wiggins’ role isn’t a problem for fantasy managers, as he will be in the starting lineup. However, the inconsistent production is, and that explains why he’s available in more than half of Yahoo! leagues.

Jaquez may not have been Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra’s choice to step in for the injured Norman Powell, but that did not prevent from from having an excellent night. Adebayo struggled with his shot on Sunday but remained effective as a rebounder and recorded his second double-double of the season. And the three-point attempts have increased significantly when compared to last season. Adebayo has attempted 18 three-pointers thus far, with the average of six per game being more than double his 2024-25 mark (2.8). The accuracy hasn’t been there thus far, but Bam is attempting a transformation similar to the one Brook Lopez experienced earlier in his career. Challenging to rely on in fantasy basketball last season, Jaquez has gotten off to a good start this season. He’s scored 17 points in consecutive games, which he accomplished once in the 2024-25 campaign. Consistent production will ensure Jaquez of rotation minutes, especially once Tyler Herro and Kasparas Jakučionis are healthy enough to play. The wing rotation is not as crowded now as it will be, and Jaquez has taken advantage through Miami’s first three games. Powell was fantastic on Sunday. He used his ability off the dribble to earn 12 free-throw attempts, which, combined with a solid performance from the field, led to him recording a season-high point total. With Tyler Herro (ankle) out, the Heat have relied on Powell more than they may have anticipated after acquiring him from the Clippers during the offseason. But, as evidenced by his play last season before injuring his hamstring in February, Powell can offer added value on the offensive end of the floor. All eight of Wells’ shot attempts were from beyond the arc Wednesday night, which is somewhat surprising given the Grizzlies’ need to account for the offense lost when Desmond Bane was traded to Orlando. Coward was impressive in his debut, especially defensively. The rookie was a pest on that end of the floor, and the three “stocks” don’t tell the entire story. Add in a highly efficient scoring effort, and the Grizzlies and fantasy managers were likely encouraged by what they saw.
