Wells is dealing with a sore left hamstring, which is why he is listed on the Grizzlies’ injury report. His absence would open up a spot in the starting lineup, with GG Jackson and Cam Spencer being potential replacements. Caldwell-Pope missed Memphis’ most recent game, an overtime loss to the 76ers on Tuesday. His absence factored into GG Jackson playing 23 minutes off the bench. If KCP remains out, Jackson should surpass 20 minutes, but he is not worth the risk in most fantasy leagues.

KPJ was one of Milwaukee’s top couple of scorers on Wednesday, and he shot efficiently from the floor despite major struggles from the three-point line. He also contributed on the glass and as a passer, which have been standard for him this season. Poter will continue to be counted on by the Bucks for nightly production, regardless of who he is sharing the floor with. He finished December strong and should remain a productive fantasy basketball option at the guard position.

Rollins was part of a productive starting backcourt on Wednesday, performing adequately alongside Kevin Porter Jr. to put up fairly strong numbers. Rollins led the Bucks in assists and was one of three players to tally at least 15 points. He’s rotated in and out of the starting lineup recently, but he’s remained effective regardless. He’ll look to carry his recent success into 2026 as the Bucks face the Hornets on January 2.

Antetokounmpo logged just 28 minutes against the Wizards as he eases his way back from a calf injury. Still, he managed to reach the 30-point mark and tally double-digit rebounds for the first time in over a month. The former league MVP failed to accumulate any stocks in this game, however, and was inconsistent from the line. Otherwise, his night was encouraging, and his performances moving forward should remain strong as his minutes increase.

Morant took over late in this game to help force overtime by scoring 18 points in the fourth quarter. He added six more in overtime, but it wasn’t enough for Memphis to get the win. Still, this was Morant’s best game of the season as he set a new season high for scoring. Morant’s main issue has been health, but if he can remain on the floor and stay this hot, fantasy managers should get a nice stretch from him.

For the first time this season, Koloko got the starting nod. This was only his fifth game with Memphis, and while he had taken on a larger role in recent games, he still played fewer minutes than Santi Aldama, who he replaced in the starting lineup. Aldama played 36 minutes off the bench and finished with 15 points, six rebounds, two assists and four blocks. Even if this lineup doesn’t change, Aldama will remain a standard league option.

This was the sixth double-double of Coward’s rookie season, but this was better than the rest. He set career highs for both points and rebounds, though it wasn’t enough for Memphis to get the win. Coward has proven that he should be viewed as an elite asset in dynasty leagues and is already making an impact in redraft leagues as a rookie. This was an impressive performance for him, and he’ll look to keep it going against the Lakers on Friday.

Already a solid fantasy option, Aldama’s ceiling has been raised recently due to injuries to Zach Edey and Jock Landale. While the stat line did not include any rebounds, steals or blocked shots, what Morant did provide to fantasy managers was encouraging. Antetokounmpo didn’t show any signs of rust in his first game action since December 3 after an eight-game absence due to a right calf strain. He dropped 15 points on 7-of-9 shooting in the first half and nearly reached the lofty 30-point plateau in just 24 minutes. He also uncorked a windmill dunk in the final seconds with the game in hand that drew a strong reaction from the Bulls and led to a benches-clearing incident. It seems likely he’ll have a bit of a minutes restriction for at least a couple additional games but it’s a welcome development for fantasy managers to get him back in the lineup. Porter Jr. had several highs and lows throughout Friday’s loss. He finished as the Bucks’ second leading scorer, but shot poorly overall and made only one of his seven three-point attempts. He also tied a team-high in assists, although his seven turnovers led to a poor assist-to-turnover ratio and cost his team several scoring opportunities.
