Pippen played 16 minutes off the bench in Monday’s loss to the Hawks, as the Grizzlies employed a starting backcourt of Luke Kennard and Desmond Bane. If Ja Morant can return from his shoulder injury, Pippen will likely fall out of the rotation whether or not he’s healthy or not.

While Konchar played 15 minutes off the bench in Monday’s loss to the Hawks, Aldama was unavailable with a sore right calf. His availability is far more impactful on fantasy basketball, especially with Jaren Jackson Jr. (ankle) likely out for multiple weeks. If Aldama can play against the Thunder, he must be rostered in most fantasy leagues. Konchar is only worthy of consideration if Ja Morant (shoulder) remains out.

Jackson suffered a Grade 2 left ankle sprain during the first quarter of Monday’s loss to the Hawks. While the Grizzlies have given him a week-to-week designation, this injury can require 4-to-6 weeks of recovery time. Fantasy managers who have Jackson rostered should stash him in an IL+ slot if possible. As for who can provide added fantasy value, Santi Aldama (when healthy) is the best target. He’s questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Thunder with a sore right calf.

Santi Aldama (calf) wasn’t available for Monday’s game, so Edey returned to the starting lineup after coming off the bench on Saturday. The rookie was productive, scoring 15 points on 75 percent shooting and grabbing five rebounds. Since the break, Edey has been an 11th-round player in eight-cat formats. Edey should be rostered in standard leagues regardless of where he is in the Grizzlies’ rotation. However, his value does take a hit when asked to come off the bench.

With Ja Morant (shoulder) out for a second straight game, Bane had to take on more playmaking responsibilities on Monday. While he did commit five turnovers, the 30-point triple-double outweighs that negative. Since the break, Bane has provided second-round value in eight- and nine-cat formats. Whether or not Morant is available, Bane will provide reliable fantasy value. But his ceiling is raised on nights like Monday.

Kennard started alongside Desmond Bane on Monday, as the Grizzlies were again without Ja Morant (shoulder). Luke had a good night, providing solid value in the points, assists and steals categories. When allowed to start, Kennard is a worthwhile streamer in deep leagues. Memphis plays three more games during Week 18, starting with the Thunder on Wednesday.

Jackson was injured during the first quarter, landing awkwardly after attempting to block a shot. His left ankle injury will likely end JJJ’s night prematurely, which means more playing time for GG Jackson and Lamar Stevens. GG has a better chance of providing value if Jaren misses time, especially if Santi Aldama remains out.

Initially questionable for Monday’s game, Morant and Aldama are trending toward not playing, according to Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins. The former also did not play in Saturday’s loss to the Spurs, with Scotty Pippen Jr. replacing Morant in the starting lineup. Beal returned to the Suns lineup after missing two games with a sore calf. He shot the ball well, but the overall impact was muted in Sunday’s 18-point defeat. Beal had provided solid value recently, ranking within the top-50 in eight-cat formats since the All-Star break. However, availability remains a concern for the guard, who has already missed 19 games this season. Beal’s return pushed Tyus Jones to the bench, and he finished with 10 points, one rebound, one assist, one steal and two three-pointers in 17 minutes. Jones is worth holding onto in deep leagues, but standard league managers may want to seek alternatives before the playoffs begin.

By his standards, Booker’s stat line on Sunday was relatively modest. However, fantasy managers haven’t had much to worry about recently, as he has provided top-15 value in eight-cat formats since the All-Star break. What is concerning is that Phoenix now trails Dallas by four games in the loss column for the final play-in spot in the West. Phoenix doesn’t own the rights to its 2025 first-round pick, so tanking is unlikely to be considered at any point. That said, fantasy managers need Booker’s team to turn things around promptly.

On a disappointing night for Durant and the Suns, he recorded his second double-double since the All-Star break. Over the past three weeks, he sits just outside the first round in 12-team leagues in eight- and nine-cat formats. With Ja Morant and Desmond Bane unavailable due to injury, everyone inside FedEx Forum knew the Grizzlies’ offense would run through Jackson. And the Spurs had no answer for him, as he shot 60 percent from the field and recorded his first 40-point game of the season (sixth of his career). Since the All-Star break, Jackson has provided top 25 per-game value in nine-cat formats, slightly better than his season-long production. Not only did Aldama record his 10th double-double of the season, but he finished two assists shy of his first career triple-double. Replacing Zach Edey in the starting lineup, the Grizzlies forward proved a capable sidekick for Jaren Jackson Jr. on a night when Ja Morant and Desmond Bane were out. Edey did not start Saturday’s game, with Santi Aldama replacing him in the starting lineup. However, with another fill-in (John Konchar) struggling, the 7-foot-4 rookie gave the Grizzlies productive minutes off the bench. A double-digit scorer in consecutive games for the first time since early February, Edey’s 17 points were the most for him since January 25 when he scored 19 against Utah. He took some of the minutes that likely would have gone to Konchar, who went scoreless and finished with three rebounds, two assists, one steal and one blocked shot in 17 minutes. While coming off the bench would not help Edey’s fantasy value, the role would not prohibit him from being productive.

Pippen shined as a starter for the injured Ja Morant earlier this season, so it’s unsurprising he recorded a solid stat line on Saturday. Since his stellar debut in Detroit, Richards’ move to Phoenix hasn’t panned out how he, the Suns or fantasy managers hoped it would.
