Wembanyama took over as San Antonio’s primary catalyst in the second half, scoring a game-high 16 points on 6-of-12 shooting. The 22-year-old generational talent remains limited from a minutes standpoint as he works his way back from a knee issue, but he’s still delivered some monster fantasy performances off the bench. He’s averaged 22.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.7 blocks in just 24.5 minutes over his last three games since returning from a brief two-game absence. The Spurs close out the week with a road tilt against the Timberwolves before opening up a three-game week against the Thunder and Bucks before a rematch against Minnesota.

Fox eclipsed the 20-point plateau for the first time in three games, falling one rebound shy of his fourth double-double performance of the year. The 28-year-old facilitator hasn’t lived up to expectations from a scoring standpoint in his first full season with San Antonio, but he’s still provided fifth-round fantasy value, averaging 21.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.3 blocks through 29 games.

While he struggled shooting the basketball, Spencer hit double digits in assists for the third time this season. The 11 helpers were two shy of his career-high, as he continues to offer solid fantasy value as Ja Morant’s replacement in the starting lineup. Vince Williams Jr. had a good night off the bench, tallying 13 points, three rebounds, five assists, one block and three three-pointers in 23 minutes. Until Morant is healthy enough to play, Spencer and Williams will handle the point guard duties.

Back in the starting lineup after missing two games with a sprained ankle, Coward’s playing time was restricted on Friday. While the field-goal percentage wasn’t great, fantasy managers can make use of the rebounds and assists. GG Jackson, who started while Coward was out, had one of his best games of the season, tallying 18 points, two rebounds, one steal and three three-pointers in 21 minutes. Coward’s minutes will increase in the coming games, likely reducing Jackson’s opportunities.

Playing against a severely depleted Thunder roster, Jackson and the Grizzlies controlled Friday’s game for most of the first three quarters. After making all three of his shot attempts in the third quarter, JJJ was 0-of-3 in the fourth as Memphis lost a game that it led by as much as 21. The final stat line was solid, but fantasy managers may have hoped for more from Jackson on a night when the Grizzlies were once again without Ja Morant.

Still under a minutes restriction, Wembanyama played 26 minutes off the bench on Wednesday. However, as was proven most recently in Tuesday’s loss to the Grizzlies, he doesn’t need to be on the court long to impact fantasy basketball. Wemby’s final stat line only lacked a three-pointer, and the four blocks were one more than the phenom’s total in prior three appearances. The Spurs hit the road for their next three games, including a back-to-back on Saturday/Sunday against the Celtics and Timberwolves.

In addition to filling up his stat line, Castle kept the turnovers in check, recording just two in the win over the Lakers. Also crucial to fantasy managers were the second-year guard’s percentages, as he made 60 percent of his field-goal attempts and did not miss a free throw. Castle missed both of his three-point attempts, but that area may come along slowly due to the responsibilities on his plate. In addition to initiating offense, he’s being asked to take on San Antonio’s most challenging perimeter matchup on defense. That’s a lot to ask of a young player, but that hasn’t prohibited Castle from establishing himself as a key player in the Spurs’ rotation.

While his category league value is limited due to lackluster defensive production, Johnson is capable of coming through with the occasional big scoring night. The 27 points he scored against the Lakers were the most in a game for the Spurs forward since December 27, when he hit that number in a loss to the Jazz. Even with Johnson averaging 15.5 points and 6.6 rebounds per game, he has only offered 12th-round value in eight-cat formats over the past two weeks.

This was a third straight start for Spencer. The first was rough for him as a shooter, but he has been worth streaming in the role with averages of 13.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 7.3 assists and 2.3 triples over the last three games. The second-round pick had a couple of strong outings in October but was then sidelined for a while with a toe injury. With Ja Morant (calf) sidelined, he has been able to fill out the backup point guard minutes. That hadn’t led to much production until this game. Spencer stepped up as the Grizzlies go-to option down the home stretch with Ja Morant sitting out with a right calf contusion as he knocked down a clutch three-pointer and a step back jumper in the final two minutes to put Memphis ahead for good. The 25-year-old guard, who came a couple boards and helpers away from a triple-double in this one, has been hit-or-miss from a scoring standpoint but he should continue to see plenty of minutes, even if he ends up splitting time with Vince Williams, on a Memphis squad that is dealing with an avalanche of injuries.

Wembanyama was a force inside the paint and also knocked down 3-of-6 from three-point range in his return to San Antonio’s lineup following a brief two-game absence due to left knee soreness. The 22-year-old generational talent came off the bench in this one and fantasy managers should anticipate the Spurs putting a governor on his workload as he continues to deal with lingering physical issues. Fox hit two corner threes during the fourth quarter, which boosted the final points tally for the night. Over the past two weeks, the Spurs guard has offered eighth-round per-game value in eight-cat formats. Fox’s problem recently has been the foul line, as he’s making just 65.4 percent of his attempts. While he’s never been an elite foul shooter, that’s poor for a guard of his caliber. The Spurs begin a four-game Week 12 in Memphis on Tuesday, and they’ll have two back-to-backs.

Castle has recorded at least seven assists in six consecutive games, with Saturday’s tally being the most for him since an 11-assist night on December 21 against the Wizards. Harper played a more prominent role for the Spurs in their first action without franchise cornerstone Victor Wembanyama after he suffered a hyperextended left knee earlier this week. The 19-year-old rookie connected on 8-of-12 shots from inside the arc and shot 60 percent overall on the night, finishing just two points shy of matching his previous career-high mark set back on December 18.
