Castle had just 11 points and shot 2-of-11 from the field in Sunday’s loss to the Timberwolves. He also wasn’t that great the game before with nine points on 3-of-16 shooting against the Celtics. Castle bounced back with as many points as he had had in the previous two games (20) against the Thunder on Tuesday. He was also just three rebounds and two assists shy of a triple-double. Wembanyama was back in the starting lineup on Sunday, but the minutes (27) were still somewhat limited. Wembanyama landed on Rudy Gobert’s foot after attempting a three-pointer during the third quarter, tweaking his left ankle. That didn’t affect his availability for the rest of the game as he remained on the floor, but it could land Wemby on the injury report ahead of Tuesday’s game against the Thunder. Luke Kornet (six points, 12 rebounds, one steal and one block) played 23 minutes off the bench.

Coward, who has been battling a lingering ankle issue recently, took on an expanded role from a scoring standpoint in this one with Memphis still playing without mercurial guard Ja Morant due to an ongoing calf injury. The 22-year-old hoisted a team-leading 15 shots and knocked down 5-of-10 from three-point range to fuel his fifth 20-point effort on the season. He drained a pair of clutch treys in the final two minutes of regulation to put the Grizzlies ahead for good. He’ll continue to see an uptick in minutes and scoring opportunities while Morant and other key contributors for the Grizzlies remain sidelined. The Grizzlies are off until Thursday when they face the Magic before closing out the week with a rematch against Orlando on Sunday afternoon.

Still under a minutes restriction, Wembanyama played 26 minutes off the bench on Wednesday. However, as was proven most recently in Tuesday’s loss to the Grizzlies, he doesn’t need to be on the court long to impact fantasy basketball. Wemby’s final stat line only lacked a three-pointer, and the four blocks were one more than the phenom’s total in prior three appearances. In addition to filling up his stat line, Castle kept the turnovers in check, recording just two in the win over the Lakers. Also crucial to fantasy managers were the second-year guard’s percentages, as he made 60 percent of his field-goal attempts and did not miss a free throw. Castle missed both of his three-point attempts, but that area may come along slowly due to the responsibilities on his plate. In addition to initiating offense, he’s being asked to take on San Antonio’s most challenging perimeter matchup on defense. That’s a lot to ask of a young player, but that hasn’t prohibited Castle from establishing himself as a key player in the Spurs’ rotation.

While his category league value is limited due to lackluster defensive production, Johnson is capable of coming through with the occasional big scoring night. The 27 points he scored against the Lakers were the most in a game for the Spurs forward since December 27, when he hit that number in a loss to the Jazz. Wembanyama was a force inside the paint and also knocked down 3-of-6 from three-point range in his return to San Antonio’s lineup following a brief two-game absence due to left knee soreness. The 22-year-old generational talent came off the bench in this one and fantasy managers should anticipate the Spurs putting a governor on his workload as he continues to deal with lingering physical issues. Fox hit two corner threes during the fourth quarter, which boosted the final points tally for the night. Over the past two weeks, the Spurs guard has offered eighth-round per-game value in eight-cat formats. Fox’s problem recently has been the foul line, as he’s making just 65.4 percent of his attempts.
