While Rollins had to deal with significant defensive attention in Thursday’s overtime loss to the 76ers, that did not compare to what he saw from Detroit. The Pistons threw Ausar Thompson at the Bucks guard, and he struggled early on. However, Rollins would eventually get his bearings and finish with a solid overall stat line. Despite the Bucks’ injuries, he’s still rostered in just 53 percent of Yahoo! leagues. Look for that number to increase, especially with Milwaukee playing four games during Week 6.

After scoring 19 points in his first start for the injured Giannis Antetokounmpo, Portis tallied 18 on 70 percent shooting on Saturday. He didn’t provide any defensive stats against the Bucks, but the opportunity to start makes Portis a player worth rostering while Milwaukee awaits the return of its best player. And with four games on the schedule for Week 6, now is a good time to add Portis if he’s sitting on your league’s waiver wire.

For the second time this season, Green made five three-pointers in a game on Saturday. He’s made at least three in 13 of his 17 appearances, locking down a spot in the Bucks’ starting lineup. Green is mainly an option for managers needing points and three-pointers, and he’s been consistently productive in those areas. The Bucks play four games during Week 6, starting with the Trail Blazers on Monday.

Ayton remained at home due to an illness, but he will travel with the team for Sunday’s road game against the Jazz. He’s only missed one game this season, a November 2 win over the Heat, with Jaxson Hayes filling the void in the starting lineup. Hayes played 15 minutes off the bench in Tuesday’s win over the Jazz, and he’ll be a deep-league streamer at best if Ayton doesn’t play in Sunday’s rematch.

Kuzma popped up on the injury report Saturday morning as questionable with an illness. The 30-year-old power forward still has the entire afternoon to recover from his illness, though it’s unclear what illness Kuzma is dealing with. Portis was Bucks head coach Doc Rivers’ choice to fill the massive void left by Giannis Antetokounmpo, who will be re-evaluated in one to two weeks after suffering a strained groin. After a slow start to his 11th NBA season, “The Mayor of Milwaukee” was productive in his 28 minutes. The playing time is a concern, especially with Myles Turner (14/10/1 with three three-pointers) also playing 28 minutes. Gary Trent Jr. (11 points, two assists, one steal and three three-pointers) replaced Portis in the lineup to begin the third quarter, a sign that the matchup influenced the minutes. Despite that, Milwaukee’s lack of dependable frontcourt options makes rostering Portis a risk worth taking in deeper leagues.

While Kuzma hasn’t been the most reliable option for fantasy managers, Giannis Antetokounmpo’s absence with a low-grade groin strain makes him worth a longer look. The Bucks forward provided solid value on Thursday in the first game that Milwaukee has played since Giannis’ injury. However, some fantasy managers will hope for more rebounding production from Kuzma. Unfortunately, the Bucks end Week 5 with a challenging matchup, as they’ll host the red-hot Pistons on Saturday.

Rollins continues to shine as the Bucks’ starting point guard. On Thursday, he recorded his second career double-double and matched his career-high with 32 points. Rollins’ 14 assists were a career-high as he hit double digits in that category for the second time as a pro. Kevin Porter Jr. (knee) still isn’t close to a return, but it’s fair to say that Rollins will remain the Bucks’ starting point guard no matter what. He’s only rostered in 52 percent of Yahoo! leagues, which is way too low.

After missing the first 14 games of the season with sciatica, LeBron was finally able to make his debut for his 23rd season in the NBA. He played just under 30 minutes, which was enough time for him to record a double-double. His first game couldn’t have gone much better for the team, but for managers that were expecting his typical dominance, they’re going to have to exercise patience. It was only his first game, and he didn’t force much. He facilitated well, but he only took seven shots; LeBron didn’t take fewer than 10 shots in a game all of last season. The Lakers are playing well, so they’ll take the gradual approach of working James into the rotation. Luka Dončić will run the show, but James will still have plenty of chances to dominate fantasy basketball as the season progresses. Even at 40 years old, he’s going to make a huge impact in the box score. For now, it’s just a breath of fresh air that he’s back out on the floor.

All eyes were on LeBron James’ season debut, but that didn’t stop Luka from being Luka. He followed up his 41-point night on Saturday by nearly matching that total in this one while still recording a double-double. LeBron was back and had the ball plenty, but Luka ran the show. There shouldn’t have been any worries about James limiting Dončić, but it’s clear that he isn’t going to come in and syphon usage. This is Luka’s team, which is a great sign for fantasy managers.

Any concerns about the return of LeBron James limiting Reaves can be put to rest. His production may look different, but he’s going to continue to be featured heavily on offense. LeBron had 12 assists and and Luka Dončić had 10, and while it has only been one game, it seems like Reaves is going to take a hit in assists. However, he’s still going to see plenty of shot attempts, and he likely won’t continue to only have on assist.

For the third game in a row, and for the sixth time this season, Ayton was able to record a 20-point double-double. He has had an excellent year, and the debut of LeBron James didn’t negatively impact his usage. Ayton has been active on the glass, and they’re feeding him the ball. The Lakers will be fully healthy for the first time this season. LeBron will likely replace Marcus Smart in the starting lineup, though Smart should still play a significant role off the bench. Since it will be LeBron’s first game of the year, head coach JJ Redick will likely keep an eye on his minutes. If he’s feeling fine, don’t be surprised if James plays a significant role, though the expectation should be that he plays between 25-30 minutes, which is more than enough time for him to flood the stat sheet.

Charania’s report indicates it’s a low-grade left groin strain for Giannis, and if he doesn’t return in November, he should be back quickly to start December. That means at least three absences for Giannis, though he could be out seven games or more, depending on how he recovers. Antetokounmpo has had one of the highest usage rates of his career this year, so there will be plenty of shots to go around. Recently, Kyle Kuzma (24 percent rostered in Yahoo! leagues) replaced Gary Trent Jr. (seven percent) in the starting lineup, but GTJ could make a return to the opening unit with Antetokounmpo out. Jericho Sims started the second half of Monday’s game against the Cavaliers, but that was likely a matchup-based decision against Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen. Bobby Portis (25 percent) is another candidate to enter the starting lineup, though he has been disappointing this year. Of course, Ryan Rollins, who is enjoying a breakout season for the Bucks, had his two best games of the year when Giannis missed games earlier this year. Everyone on the Bucks will seen a bump in usage and minutes until Antetokounmpo returns.

Rollins picked up the slack from an offensive standpoint in the second half following superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo’s exit in the late stages of the second quarter with a left groin strain. However, Milwaukee was unable to avoid their third loss in their last four games. He shot 50 percent from downtown, hitting five of 10 treys and hoisted a team-leading 22 shots in this one. The Lakers raced out to a commanding 63-34 halftime lead thanks to a 21-point first-half eruption from Dončić, who knocked down six of 13 shots — including three from beyond the arc — while also converting six free throws. It was an impressive all-around, stat-stuffing effort on the second night of a back-to-back following Friday’s win over the Pelicans. The 26-year-old generational talent is averaging 34.4 points, 8.9 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 0.6 blocks through 10 games this season.
