Brunson finished with his fifth double-double of the season and first since December 2. And, as usual, “Captain Clutch” came up big for the Knicks down the stretch. Brunson shot 4-of-5 from the field in the fourth quarter, including a floater with just over a minute remaining that extended New York’s lead to three. The Knicks still have three games to play in Week 11, starting with the Spurs on Wednesday in the final game of their road trip.

After a first quarter in which he missed all four of his shot attempts, Anunoby flipped a switch in the second. He shot 5-of-7 from the field, with all five makes occurring in the restricted area, and scored 16 points in the period. While the overall field-goal percentage wasn’t good, Anunoby’s overall stat line was one that many fantasy managers will take. He’s only shot 35.6 percent from the field over the past two weeks, which is why he’s ranked outside the top-100 in eight-cat formats during this period.

With Josh Hart unavailable due to a sprained ankle, Diawara made his second consecutive start on Monday. And the rookie took full advantage of the opportunity, hitting four three-pointers and scoring 16 points in the first half. Diawara wouldn’t offer much production in the final two quarters of Monday’s win. Still, he’s the latest example of a young Knicks player taking advantage of the opportunity given to them by head coach Mike Brown. Hart won’t play on Wednesday against the Spurs, either, meaning Diawara will get at least one more start.

Reid was a force of nature in the second half, going off for 23 points on 7-of-10 shooting, including 4-of-6 from three-point range. The 26-year-old big main drained a season-high six triples in this one while also chipping in seven boards and three assists in a stat sheet-stuffing effort. He’s capable of delivering outstanding fantasy value when he’s feeling it from downtown. He’s a must-start for the remainder of the week when the Timberwolves face the Hawks, Heat and Wizards.

Randle recorded the unconventional triple-double while Minnesota kicked off a four-game road trip by dishing out a season-high 14 helpers, reaching double-digit assists for the second straight contest. The 31-year-old’s transition to a facilitator role has driven down his scoring numbers lately but fantasy managers will certainly take the uptick in the assist department.

McBride is set to play in his first game since December 7, and his timing is impeccable, as Kolek has been filling in for him as Jalen Brunson’s backup. McBride may see limited minutes in his first game back in three weeks, so fantasy managers don’t need to insert him into lineups right away.

Monday will be an injury management day for Robinson, who logged 18 minutes off the bench in Saturday’s win over the Hawks. While the Knicks won’t have a back-to-back to navigate, their offensive rebounding savant will get a couple of days to rest before New York visits San Antonio on Wednesday. Anunoby may not have shot the ball as well as he’s capable of, but he came up with some huge plays in crunch time to salvage the victory. After rebounding a Jalen Brunson miss and making two free throws with 29.6 seconds remaining to give New York a one-point lead, his steal of a Trae Young pass on the ensuing possession led to two more free throws. With Josh Hart (ankle) sidelined for New York’s three-game road trip, Anunoby’s production outside of points may receive a boost. If so, that would be great for those who have him rostered.

Counting Saturday’s performance, Brunson has scored at least 34 points in three straight games. The Hawks struggled to find an answer for the Knicks’ point guard, but they aren’t the first time (or the last) to have that happen. Over the past two weeks, Brunson has provided second-round value in eight-cat formats, aligning with his Yahoo! ADP (22). It would be unsurprising if he had another big night on Monday against the Pelicans, especially if New Orleans doesn’t have Herb Jones.

For the first time in over a month, Towns has recorded a double-double in three straight games. He was outstanding against the Hawks, with 18 free throws being the most he’s attempted in a game this season. Towns shot over 50 percent from the field, and while he did not record any defensive stats, the offensive production and rebounds were elite. As much as Christmas Day games focus on name-brand stars, the Knicks’ bench was the difference in Thursday’s victory. Clarkson and Tyler Kolek spearheaded an 18-0 second-quarter run that erased a terrible start, and both made key plays during the second half to complete the rally. Clarkson’s 25 points are a season-high, and he’s reached double figures in four of his last five games. Brusnon and the Knicks got off to a brutally slow start on Christmas Day, making just two of their first 15 shot attempts. New York would get off the mat during the second and fourth quarters, but it was the bench that sparked the rallies as opposed to Brunson.
